De kamer en badkamer waren ruim en proper. De kamer heeft een mooi uitzicht op de natuur en de trein die soms passeert. Goede locatie voor Ella Rock.
Dit verblijf voelde niet aan als hotel of resort, eerder als kamer via airbnb. De kamer is erg gehorig, je hoort zeer duidelijk de motors/tuktuks op straat en ‘s ochtends de luide muziek van het personeel beneden. Het bed was zeer oncomfortabel, de kussens kapot en/of vies. De minibar was leeg, ter plekke waren geen drankjes te verkrijgen (enkel water op kamertemperatuur). De TV gaf een foutmelding, ivm onbetaalde rekeningen. De persoon die instond voor de receptie heeft dit tevergeefs proberen oplossen. Het verblijf ligt zeer afgelegen, om deze reden boekten wij een verblijf met restaurant. Helaas werd ons ter plekke meegedeeld dat het restaurant niet beschikbaar zou zijn en we dus zelf iets anders moesten regelen…

Kithal Ella Station Resort is located right next to Kithal Ella railway station and is also about a 30-minute walk to Ella along the railway tracks. It’s a perfect place for couples or anyone who wants to stay somewhere peaceful away from the busy town of Ella. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice bed and a clean bathroom with warm and hot water. The view from the room is amazing – you can see Ella Rock and the railway line, which makes the place very special.
The food was also delicious. We had the rice and curry dinner and it was incredibly tasty. We also tried the famous Sri Lankan kottu, and honestly it was one of the best kottu we had in Sri Lanka. the resort is very close to Ella Rock, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing with the sounds of birds and nature all around. It’s a great place to relax peacefully.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi speed was good, and since I had to do some online work, it really helped a lot. overall, this is a beautiful place surrounded by green nature, with clean rooms and a peaceful environment. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella who wants a quiet and relaxing stay.

I chose Kithal Ella Station Resort, and honestly, it was an amazing place with a beautiful view. The location is great, and the railway station is within walking distance.
The food was very tasty, and the chef prepared everything perfectly. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our time there. Ella Rock is very close to the property, and there is also a small waterfall nearby where we enjoyed a refreshing waterfall bath. The view is stunning, and the place is very calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The room was very clean, the bathroom was excellent, and all the room facilities were very comfortable.
Breakfast was arranged in the room with a beautiful view. It was a wonderful experience having breakfast while watching the train pass by. The manager ( owner Ayesh ) were very supportive and even helped us arrange our train ride, which became a memorable experience for us.
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella. The price we paid was very reasonable, and the service was excellent.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Zimmer sehr geräumig. Die Betten mit Moskitonetz.
Das Hotel liegt etwas zu weit von Ella Zentrum entfernt. Da es kein eigenes Restaurant hat muss man mit TukTuk fahren. Das Zimmer wurde während des Aufenthalts nicht geputzt.
