The staff were great and the room was incredible! So beautiful and well designed. Everything seemed thought out, would definitely stay here again! They provided a lovely selection of drinks and fresh fruit in our suite with a hand written card. Attention to detail is on point!

Jacky the manager was very warm, hospitable and accommodating. He highly recommended the cafe at their lobby, and the latte was one of the best in town as it is a branch outlet of Decameron, who has a full 3 level coffee shop just down the street. The hotel was beautifully done, love the aesthetic, anyone with an eye for design can appreciate the work and craftsmanship put into building this place. It’s located inside the old town of Nantou, which means the taxi can’t pull right up outside of the hotel, so it is a little walk from the main gate. But the hotel management gave very clear instructions if you ask them for it, or if you add them on WeChat. We had no problems finding it.
The hotel is really quite small, I think only 2 rooms per floor, so one did not need to worry about overcrowding or it being particularly noisy.
Got woken up at 7am by someone showering in the room upstairs, so I’d say maybe the acoustics aren’t the best. I think this is a better hotel for single or couple travellers, not really ideal for kids since it might disturb others. The bed was just nice for me, but a bit too soft for my partner who rather sleep on the lounge, so that’s ok.

Architecture. Size of room. Comfortable bed. Very helpful manager. Came to find us at the taxi drop-off and escorted us to the hotel.
In-house cafe not open for coffee or breakfast before 9am.

Breakfast provided was an inauthentic Western-style meal.
There was an unpleasant sewage smell coming up from the drains in the room. Opening the windows did not fully resolve the issue.
I have seen this hotel design style in other countries. For a hotel, however, it lacks a sense of warmth and security.
The surrounding environment and facilities do not match this style, and it is quite noisy in the early mornings and evenings.
Since most of the windows cannot be opened, the lighting could be made brighter.
