Magico!

La posizione è perfetta, in una delle strade principali della Medina. Lo staff è spettacolare e le camere fantastiche. La colazione viene servita nella fantastica terrazza da cui si gode di una vista meravigliosa sulle montagne e la città. Forniscono bagnoschiuma, shampoo e un phon da campeggio. Il wc e la doccia sono divisi da una porta spettacolare di fianco al lavandino. Il Wi-Fi non è il punto di forza. Ma meglio così, abbiamo staccato completamente la spina dal cellulare!

Unterkunft an Top Lage in der Medina von Chefchaouen. Die Besitzerin ist sehr hilfsbereit und macht das beste Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse, das wir auf unserer Marokko Reise geniessen durften.

1.There are many stalls outside this hotel. 2.The boss is very nice and solved our accommodation problem. 3.The room is great. 4.Traditional Moroccan breakfast, it's OK.

1.No Wi-Fi. 2.I think accommodation in Chefchaouen is expensive.

Bellissimo hotel

Il riad è molto bello, dotato di una bellissima terrazza dove poter fare colazione al mattino o prendere un tè nel pomeriggio, c'è anche un bellissimo gatto che tiene compagnia. La nostra camera era molto spaziosa, arredate alla precisione in stile marocchino mediterraneo e dotate di tutto il necessario come phon, asciugamani bagnoschiuma e shampoo. La proprietaria è stata così gentile da offrirci un tè al nostro arrivo e farci scegliere la camera che più preferivamo. Nella camera c'era anche una stufetta che in inverno può essere usato come riscaldamento. La nostra camera era pulita e la colazione era molto buona con le uova strapazzate al momento. La signora è stata davvero molto gentile e cordiale, all'arrivo ci ha offerto il tè. La posizione è nella parte alta della città, in una viuzza piena di negozietti e vicoli da fotografare, la città si gira tutta a piedi (la zona turistica) nonostante sia tutta in salita, ma ne vale la pena.

E' presente un parcheggio poco più in alto dove lasciare l'auto (c'è una bella salita dall'hotel al piazzale) che sarebbe gratuito ma una persona viene comunque a chiedervi i soldi quando parcheggiate. In Marocco funziona così anche con i parcheggi che apparentemente non sono a pagamento.

A sweet place to stay with a very welcoming host and chef.

Najat made our stay exceptional. She does everything very well. Her sense of color and design for Dar el Fanne was very good. She displays her beautiful artwork that captures the Moroccan spirit so well. Breakfast was excellent. She is a lovely, welcoming host. It was nice to meet a woman managing lodging.

It was sometimes noisy in the streets at night but I did tell my friends to bring earplugs. This is to be expected in a medina. The steps can be challenging for people with mobility problems.

BIG RECOMMENDATION

We had the best time at Dar El Fanne! Everything was clean, good breakfast, nice interior. The owner Najat was the lovliest woman, she was there for all of our questions, made us feel at home and we had a lot of fun. If we ever come back to Chefchaouen we will definitely come back to this accomodation. Lots of love to Najat and - of course - Souka 🐱❤

The rooms and decoration are exceptional. The rooms, seating area and roof terrace were spotlessly clean! Najat is a fantastic host, so friendly and available to answer any questions. Great breakfast on the roof terrace with views of the city and mountain. Highly recommended!! I would definitely stay again! Thanks Najat & Souka🐱for a great couple of days!!

The riad is beautiful, in a super central position, right on the main street of Chefchaouen, with a stunning view from both rooms and terrace. Rooms are confortable and clean. Najat, the owner, is very kind and helpful. She cooked a great breakfast, served on the terrace. Very recommended!

Najat was great! She would take care of us and make sure everything was good, she is great with all of her clients! The place is beautiful, super cozy, the location is right in the middle of the medina which is great to explore the different little shops around the Dar!

The only thing was that the wifi wasn’t great when I was in my room, but it was fine when downstairs in the common area. Truly the only negative thing I would have to say about this great Dar!!

The cutest place we’ve stayed on our Morocco tour!

You can tell a woman runs the place as there is a lot of attention to detail and little touches throughout. Our room was really pretty, the blue characteristic of Chefchaouen, with a nicely designed bathroom nook. The towels and sheets were all beautifully white and clean and nice quality fabric (which is something I always check). In fact, the whole place was good quality and spotlessly clean. Najat, who runs Dar el Fanne, is fantastic. Our bus was over an hour late and she waited for us at the door to the medina the whole time. She was very kind and thoughtful throughout, and did her best to speak to us in Spanish, although I think she’s more comfortable in French (or Arabic of course). She also has a lovely cat, Souka, who she takes great care of - I always like people who have pets as you can tell they’re good people! One thing to note is the map location wasn’t correct when we were there (May 2023) but Najat came to meet us so it didn’t matter. We’ve suggested it to change on google maps but Najat has been having some problems with this! Having said that, the location is amazing - not too far from a main road, but also great for exploring the city. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if in the blue city and we loved our visit

Worth knowing that our room was on the first floor and faced the medina street, so it was fairly loud outside of 12am-8am, but we always travel with earplugs and actually had our best sleep here. The pillows were much softer and less huge than other places we stayed in Morocco. There are other rooms that are quieter on the courtyard if this is an issue.

Gorgeous room and terrace in the heart of the Medina.

this was without a doubt our favorite place in our trip to Morocco. The location is excellent, our host was so friendly and helped us with everything. the room was beautiful and romantic, the terrace had a beautiful view, and the breakfast included was better than any other place we stayed at!

It's well located inside Medina close to one of the main doors. The building and its decoration are awesome. The staff is so kind, Najat helps me a lot and offered a wonderful attention. The terrace is quite and fresh, a perfect chillout in Chefchouen. I highly recommend this place. The accomodation worths its price.

Everything was nice. May be the breakfast could be improved with some eggs or an omelette, but it was good anyway.

Perfect Hospitality and Location

We stayed in this Riad for two nights, and we have absolutely love it. Najat, the manager, is a very kind person that can help you in anything. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the medina in a very touristic part. the view from the room and the terrasse is amazing. The breakfast was very good as well prepared by Najat. I definitely recommend to anyone.

Superb

We liked the nice terras that had a nice panorama of Chefchaouene. The host and owner were very kind people. They invited us for coffee after we had returned from dinner and had a nice chat. Breakfast was good. Housecat Souka was very sweet.

Beds were hard. We had to keep the door to the ensuite bathroom closed because it stank a little

We loved it!!

How warmly and hospitably we were received here by the hosts. We had a beautiful blue room, which totally fit the theme. The Riad was very idyllic and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the roof terrace. The location was in the middle of the village, so you could get a taste of real life. Definitely highly recommended!

All you need

Perfect location! Two minutes walk from car, in the heart of the medina but very quiet to sleep. Najet keeps in touch through whatsapp and takes care of all you need.

Wonderful time in Chefchaouen

Very cozy hotel in the heart of Chefchaouen. We were greeted by the nicest lady working at reception. We felt like at home and could easily visit the town with its meandering streets. Breakfast was very filling and served on the roof. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

The Hostess was incredibly lovely and did everything to accommodate our needs. The location - a bit hard to find bec of the wrong Google location - is perfect. It's in the middle of the main Medina in Old City. The room itself was lovely and decorated pretty. Perfect stay.

Nijat was amazing, very friendly and welcoming, came to take us from the main gate of the Medina, she made sure all the time that I feel at home and that nothing is missing. She sits and chat with you and answer any questions needed
