Charming and comfortable apartment with several sleeping options and new mattresses. The fully equipped kitchen has pots, pans, plates, and cooking utensils. Some spices and oils are also supplied. The bathroom has a clean tub and shower. During good weather you can enjoy the backyard patio and fire pit. Two off street parking spots are available. There is a laundromat nearby as well as numerous shops, restaurants, and other entertainment options such as a movie theater and live music.

The apt is clean and comfortable and a bit eclectic. This is not a 5-star hotel, so don’t expect it to be. It is a century home with creaks and quirks, including upstair neighbor noise. Some furnishings have been replaced, so pictures no longer match current accommodations.I had 2 friends in from out of town to visit the CVNP and area attractions. The location and the price made this a great value to us. We are not fussy people and mismatched and quirky decor does not offend us. We slept one in each bedroom and one on the living room futon. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Though we had intended to shower here, we did not. We were informed that extra towels/linens are in the living room closet.One reviewer mentioned the odor of pet urine. Yes, there is a mild odor of urine in the walk-in closet. It does not affect the rest of the room or apt. However, if you are bringing a pet, you may need to be aware of this, as animals tend to mark in areas marked before.Inaccuracies in listing: no patio/deck/fire pit. Backyard is not prepared for entertaining. “Deck” is the small porch for the back door. Fire pit is overgrown. This did not affect us, but may affect you.Kitchen is not prepared for full-time cooking. Minimal pots/pans. There is no toaster/toaster oven. No foil/baggies/cling wrap, or the like.My gf complained of Wifi speed. We had 4 devices. She was uploading a ton of photos. I felt WiFi was fine for my needs.Very limited seating in living room.

We stayed while in town for a conference. We appreciated the self-check in, the location, and having two bedrooms. It was neat and clean. We met the people staying upstairs while we were sitting on the porch in the evening, and they were very nice. There were only two towels and the amenity basket was a bit scanty, but it was sufficient for our needs. We walked over the Highland Square for ice cream and felt safe. The living room was a bit warm on arrival but cooled down once we cranked up the AC in the bedrooms. One of the beds is kind of low for a tall person, but otherwise was comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely place to spend a night and exactly what we needed.
