Handy place to stay for visiting all the small towns in the area and the coast; especially good for visiting the National Trust for Scotland's Falkland Palace (and its lovely gardens) and the not-so-far-away Hill of Tarvit (and its lovely gardens) plus many other attractions (e.g. four wheel drive 'experiences').
All things are relative – so a pretty quiet flat with the windows closed, fairly close to Falkland town centre (although it's just a bit too far to walk to buy a bottle of milk) and the lounge / dining / kitchen area is large enough for four to move around comfortably. Separate utility room for the washing machine and somewhere to leave shoes etc also good - ditto loo / washbasin / shower and off street parking. Sum up? A pleasant flat and not much to complain about!
Mugs, mugs, mugs – four people need more than four mugs if they are to avoid much washing up. Hook(s) on the loo door would also be handy. The 'no pet' rule includes a strict no visiting pets, too.

The place was immaculate, I mean really immaculate. It had every facility you could want, the host even left milk in the fridge and tea and coffee. Loved the velux windows, very light any airy. Good bakery just a short walk from the appartment.
The building itself was recently renovated and you can see that no expense was spared.
Unfortunately the TV was not connected to an aerial, so to watch the World cup you had to sign into the app for which ever channel had the TV, ad no channel surfing. Also had to fix the STv app, set to wrong location so would not show live TV. Would have given 10/10 if I hadn't spent a couple of hours fixing the TV.

The accommodation was really lovely. The conversion has been done very well. It looks stylish and it's very cosy too. All the skylights have blackout blinds. The large TV has all streaming available to log into. The bathroom having a big shower enclosure was great. The kitchen had everything you would need and the supplies left were very thoughtful. The furnishing throughout was great. I would love to know where they got the sofa as it was the nicest I've sat on in a long time!
Small niggles - The noise of traffic was not great. To be clear the location IS shown on the map so we should have looked more carefully, but the property photographs showing the town centre had confused us into expecting the property to be in town not the outskirts beside a roundabout. Another thing from the photos you provide is that we expected the flat to be first floor, and had we seen there were just as many stairs once inside the property we wouldn't have booked.
