This home sleeps up to 6 adults and 4 children. This light-filled, 2100 sf home with verdant garden views rests in a quiet neighborhood near Carmel Point. Open floor plan living and dining areas, including outdoor seating, make gathering easy and enjoyable. Enjoy a walk to the beach or take a short drive to downtown Carmel where you will find galleries, shopping and restaurants to delight. The famed Carmel Mission Basilica Museum is also within easy driving distance. Enter directly into the Living Room, featuring plenty of seating with a large flat screen TV with cable service and a wood burning fireplace. Access the patio with outdoor seating and a gas grill through the sliding glass door. Located off the main living room, the open plan dining room seats six guests comfortably. Exit to the patio with outdoor seating and a gas grill. Fully-equipped Kitchen with pantry and bar seating for 3 includes a drip coffeemaker, additional bar sink and separate drink or wine refrigerator and a laundry area. The fenced patio area off the living and dining rooms features seating for 6, and a gas grill. In an open plan design with the kitchen, the family room features a wood burning fireplace and large flat screen TV with cable service. Secreted behind a bookcase lies a hidden room! Visit with the chef and enjoy a glass of wine at the kitchen bar, with seating for 3. Bedrooms and Bathrooms Bedroom #1 features a king bed and an en suite full bath with a shower over a deep soaking tub with jets. Skylights provide ample natural light. Bedroom #2 includes a king bed and is steps away from a full bathroom with a standing shower. Bedroom #3 is located off the pantry and laundry room and accommodates 4 sleepers. This bedroom features a twin day bed with an optional pull out trundle. A twin/twin bunk bed provides two more beds. Completing this room’s unique and convenient offering is an en suite full bath with a standing shower. Bedroom #4 is located just off the family room and features a twin day bed with an optional pull out trundle. Laundry center is located just off the pantry and kitchen. Sorry, no pets. well-appointed place, very nice and modern and bright, close walk to beach, on a quiet street, very short drive to main city in Carmel but also quite close to Monterey and to get onto drive to Big Sur. Plenty of space for kids and gathering, etc. would definitely stay again!

The house and communication was excellent. Great location with easy walk to downtown or to the beach. Everything was clean, comfortable, and owners continued to check in to see if we needed anything.

We came to Carmel to escape the heat for a family vacation. The house was the perfect layout for our family of 4+ grandma. It was very clean and the bunk room was a perfect setup for the kids. The windows in the bunk room did not work so that room got a little stuffy by the end of the day. One of our favorite parts was the location in the neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. We loved our daily walks and enjoyed the proximity to ocean ave for dining and shopping. We would for sure come back and stay at Dolce Tempo!!

Our family came for an extended weekend getaway, and we had a most wonderful stay. The location is unbeatable - 6min walk to either Carmel or Carmel River beaches. The house has a ton of natural light, a great patio, and a good kitchen. Plenty of space to enjoy. We'll be back!

Dolce Tempo exceed our expectations. The home is lovely and beautifully furnished. Great location - a few blocks to Carmel River State Beach and a 20 min walk to Ocean Avenue. The neighborhood is so charming. We didn't bring a hairdryer and couldn't find one in the home, so we called the property manager and they promptly delivered one. Great service! Highly recommend this property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this house with our family including little kids, parents and grandparents. It met and exceeded everyone's needs. We loved the proximity to 2 beaches, an easy walk to Mission Ranch, and close to downtown Carmel. The house had everything we needed and the layout was great for those staying up late and getting up early. We would not hesitate to rebook this house on our return to the area.

Plenty of room to spread out, and the quick walk to the beach and Mission Ranch was perfect. The linens on the beds were great, and there was cheese, crackers, and wine waiting for us when we checked in. We would definitely book again!
