Enjoy a peaceful weekend in this newly remodeled historic home, 92 years young! This home has everything you would need for a convenient/comfortable stay. The Bearcat Bungalow offers private off-street parking and a covered front porch with a spacious and cozy- downtown vibe. The Livingroom is equipped with a 45-inch TV and full-size sleeper sofa; There is a high-top dining table for 4, Keurig coffee included, a high-end gas stove and Refrigerator, Blender, Baking Sheets, Pots& Pans, and Diningware. Basic Salt & Pepper provided. The large Primary Bedroom has a luxurious King Bed with a mattress top, TV, and Desk for work if you must. Wifi is provided. The Guest Bedroom offers a comfy full-size bed with a TV. The bathroom is a Tub/ Shower Combo; We provide small amenities, Soap, Shampoo, and Toothpaste. As if this space isn't already amazing! The location makes this one a Gem! You can take a short 5-minute walk to Downtown. Our town has a beautiful downtown district full of shops, restaurants, and other unique businesses. The town hosts many events. The Garden Jubliee is held every Memorial Day Weekend, The Apple Festival every Labor Day Weekend, and many Art, Antique, and Car Shows. During the warmer months, they host Rhythm & Brews offering live music and dance. There is so much to see and do here, and we enjoy sharing our home and town with you! For being across the street from a high school, we found the Bungalow to be very quiet in the mornings as we did not hear the school traffic at all (we weren't there for school release). Easy access, felt safe. The bed was very comfortable in a cozy room. Electronic access is available everywhere with plenty of outlets, and WiFI is also available, but we did not use it. The weather was not very cooperative, but it was mid-December. Fully stocked kitchen if you were to cook, nice appliances. A definite return consideration.

We had a wonderful stay!! Perfect size for a couple and also has second bedroom for children. Location was also wonderful. Convenient to restaurants and shops in Hendersonville. Kitchen had everything anyone would need and appliances appeared brand new. A+ on cleanliness. Lovely front porch! Would definitely book again and recommend to friends and family.

With the unit being 100 years old we were crossing our fingers. We were trilled to find that the bungalow was exceptionally clean. The fans in the bedroom were much appreciated and keep the bedroom to the coolest of desired temperature! Huge plus. Loved the location and easy to walk and enjoy the downtown and some good restaurants. Look forward to a return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Bearcat Cottage while house hunting. The location is perfect. We were able to walk downtown to shops and restaurants. We had our dogs with us and it's a safe area to walk the dogs. The downtown area is very dog friendly.

What an amazing place! I am hesitant to share how great this listing is because I don’t want to get blocked out! :). Emily did an amazing job designing this 2 bedroom 1 bath rental. It has a great style, well appointed, comfy beds, and perfect for a family with pets. The downtown area is walkable plus it’s also quiet especially when school is out. The unit has it’s own parking so with the High School across the street, you have no worries. I cannot say enough about how easy it was to work with Emily. We’ll be back! Hendersonville is so central to much of what the area has to offer - 30 minutes to Chimney Rock, Brevard, Asheville and Pisgah Nat’l Forest.

We were in town for a wedding and choose this property to have the weekend in Hendersonville. The property is very clean, well appointed and great location to town. The property owners were responsive and followed up with us regarding our stay and made suggestions on things to do. Further the coffee bar and bottle of wine upon arrival was a great touch that made it personal. Highly recommend staying here. Sherrie & Tom

We took a quick weekend trip to Hendersonville to run in the Jump Off Rock half marathon and wanted to find a house close to town. We had great communication from the property owner immediately after booking. Upon arrival, we were blown away by how beautiful the home was. It was super clean with wonderful decor. The owner has carefully curated a space to feel like a home away from home (beautiful plants, wonderful amenities, coffee/wine, etc). The bed and linens were super cozy, there were plenty of bathroom necessities and the kitchen was fabulous. This was an incredible find and the owner is an absolute gem! Would 100% recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the Hendersonville area.

The trip to Hendersonville was centered around the downtown Christmas Weekend. Cartiage rides and hot cocoa on Friday night to a nite time Christmas Parade Saturday night. I wanted a pet friendly home close to downtown. The Bearcat Bungalow was the perfect location. Clean and so quaint, can't wait to go back next year. The owners are awesome, there for every question and direction that us old people needed. Thank you for a great weekend.....
