We booked 6 nights and left after 3. One of our worst hotel experiences.

They were quick to reply to messages before our arrival. The rooms were spacious, but thats about all they had going for them.

We booked 6 nights here and left after 3. This place needs some major maintenance. Even though we had very real reasons for our complaints and for leaving, they refused to refund us, and we would still rather pay for another hotel than finish our stay here. And this isn't a super budget stay, we thought we were booking a nice place for my husband's birthday but it was anything but nice. The first major issue: The first room they put us in, the door wouldn't lock or even close properly from the inside. So when we were in our room sleeping, the door wouldn't shut all the way and we couldn't lock it. Regardless if you tell us this is a safe area, we are in a foreign country and that is a security issue and does not make me feel safe or comfortable. The second major issue: The faucet handle on both the sink and the shower were broken. See pictures. They pointed out the sink faucet when we checked in, saying another guest broke it.. okay. No mention of the shower. Then I went to go for a shower, and the knob was broken and sharp, I almost cut my hand open and I'm pretty sure I would have needed a tetanus shot if I had. Again, see the pictures. We are here for scuba diving and this would have ruined the rest of our time in the Phillipines. The other stuff: This place is dingy and needs a major pressure wash. The rooms do not look anything like the pictures. The outdoor bathroom is not nice, and you get annihilated by mosquitos when you go out to use the toilet or shower. And they get inside the room everytime you open the door. The roof had holes in it and we could hear what we hope was a gecko running around up there. There was 2 empty beer bottles in the bathroom and another one outside the room. The plastic chair outside the room was broken. After our first night, we voiced our issues to them and they said they would move us to another room that their friend was staying in. Said we could move right away. Great!
