Very charming little house in a perfect location

Absolutely charming little house in great location. The host was very attentive. The house has everything you need and reallly a lot of this old fishmen house charme can be felt. The street is very quite and cannot be accessed by car but this is no problem. There is close by parking everywhere at different prices. We ended up at a parking lot close to a school, with 2 minutes walking distance and payed 12 Euros fuer 24 hours.

A cosy apartment full of old fisherman’s house charm, with a great location, excellent coffee, helpful host, and very go

This apartment is in an excellent location in the charming town of Honfleur, within easy walking distance of the harbour, restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Free parking is available about 15 minutes away on foot, while a paid parking area just 3 minutes from the apartment makes it very convenient to unload luggage upon arrival. The owner was very kind and helpful. Before our arrival, she provided detailed instructions about how to reach the apartment, where to park, how to access the property, and the Wi-Fi code. She also thoughtfully warned us in advance about the low ceilings and very narrow stairs, which we appreciated. In reality, the stairs did not cause any problems during our stay and certainly did not affect our enjoyment of the apartment. The apartment is located in a traditional old building and is arranged over three floors, giving it the charming character of a historic fisherman’s house. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen and dining area. We especially enjoyed the excellent coffee provided, which made our breakfasts even more pleasant. A grocery store is nearby, and a bakery just a 5-minute walk away offers wonderful freshly baked croissants. Access to the upper floors is via narrow stairs with low ceilings. Guests should take care when using them, as taller visitors may find them challenging. However, these features are part of the authentic character of the house. The second floor includes a sofa bed and a toilet. The extra toilet was very convenient, although the sofa bed was rather creaky and not especially comfortable. This is probably the one feature that could benefit from improvement. On the third floor, there is another sleeping area with a bed that can accommodate one or possibly two guests. The mattress is fairly thin and firm, but i slept well. This floor also contains a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Overall, we found this apartment to offer very good value for money.

Pequeña casa de 3 plantas igual que en las fotos. Me gustó su ubicación porque aunque se podía ir andando al centro no estaba en todo el meollo. Cerca había parking de pago para aparcar a 5min y un supermercado Carrefour express.

Los colchones tanto del sofá cama como de la cama individual eran incómodos y solo había colcha nórdico para taparte que daba calor. Nos hubiera gustado una pequeña mesa con sillas para desayunar/cenar en la tarima que hay en la puerta de la casa fuera.
