Perfect location in a lively city

Location is amazing, everything in colmar is within walking distance, the fresh market is right in front of the door, it was quiet and the decoration was cute. we only stayed for 1 night and couldn't use all the amenities like oven and stuff. I made the reservation as I was getting on a plane and haven't seen the mail or messages for the registration and we almost couldn't enter the apartment at all. Luckily, someone read our messages and gave us the code, so be aware and check your emails.

It was extremely hot, nothing that the property owners could fix i know but there is a definite need for AC.

It was a perfect weekend getaway for discovering the Alsatian villages

I liked the location. It was nice to experience a place where the work was downstairs and the lodging was upstairs. It's uncommon where I live, so it was fun to see how that works. While I didn't plan to drive a car, the host did inform me that there was parking. Unfortunately, the app to reserve parking didn't work so well though. I couldn't tell if there was parking available or not, but the host was easy to reach to suggest other parking options, some close and "payant" or further out of the main area, which were free to park in.

The only thing that didn't work so well was the shower drain. It was collecting water and draining very slowly even when I showered for a few minutes. Not sure if the drain is just slow, or backed-up. Nothing bad, but I wonder if it attracts mosquitoes.

A charming, fairytale base for families who value both a prime location and a quiet place to sleep

Unbeatable location in the heart of Colmar! Travel Homes - Tanneur 3 is literally steps away from the iconic Little Venice. The apartment is very cosy, decorated with many charming details offering a truly authentic feel without being cluttered. A huge highlight for the kids was the large TV with a Netflix account, which kept them entertained and enchanted after our long walks. It’s the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern convenience. Being able to explore the fairytale streets of Colmar, walk to all the main sights, local bakeries, market place, grocery stores and restaurants within minutes made our stay incredibly convenient. It’s the perfect base for anyone wanting to experience the fairytale magic of Colmar's old town. Highly recommended for its location and charm!

The apartment windows face the interior courtyard (atrium) rather than the main promenade. While you don't get a view of the streets, this turned out to be a positive for us as it offered perfect peace and quiet for a restful night after exploring the city.
