Ik heb hier een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Super lieve mensen, prima locatie, goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Boven is een plek waar je kan zitten en naar de zee kan kijken. Daar is ook een keuken. Erg genoten en i.p.v. 3, 6 nachten gebleven.

Simple, homely and amazing value for money. Room was basic but clean with good AC. Having a small kitchen upstairs was handy for making our own food. Great location right across the road from Weligama beach and many restaurants, cafes, fish market stalls. Finally, the family owners were really helpful and kind. Very responsive on Whatsapp throughout our stay and helped us arrange a taxi to the airport.

Good location and easy to find. Close to a couple of super nice restaurants and a number of laundry places. Right across the beach. The owners’ son was very accommodating and responded quickly whenever I needed something.
Since I booked during the off-season, it seemed like I was their only guest (I didn’t see or hear anyone else in the 3 nights I was there). I was given the room at the end of the hallway which faced the sun in the afternoon. It got VERY hot even with the windows and door open. AC was a paid option. I could have purchased this add-on, but I could also have been given a different room since I was the lone guest… It probably sounds entitled, but all my other homestay hosts during my entire trip really went out of their way to ensure their guests’ comfort, so that set my expectations a bit higher. Also, the beddings did not smell fresh. Honestly, it felt like they were already used but were kept in the room for the next booking.
