The staff at Union Hotel were fantastic, I can tell they try to go above and beyond for their guests.
The bed was very comfortable with beautifully soft linen and the room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The bathroom was modern and the water pressure was the best I think I've ever experienced. The aircon worked great and was very quick to cool down the room.
Unfortunately for us the noise from the nearby road was unbearable. It did not stop all night long (and during the day as well) with cars honking and sirens going off continually. Unfortunately my toddler (and us, even with earplugs in) were constantly woken up by the noise of this busy busy road, which resulted in us all not sleeping for 3 nights. Maybe this doesn't impact the rooms higher up or those in the main hotel, but in the Annex it was hard to ignore, to the point we considered checking out early or booking another hotel. Says soundproofing, but I don't know, i would beg to differ. If you are sensitive to noise, consider the higher rooms for better luck.
While the room was spacious it felt a bit cold and uninviting, a small thing, but the space would feel warmer with a rug under the bed or something similar.

Clean, excellent location, beautiful view of the old city, extremely friendly staff (Ahmet, Ali, Anna, and Lucy the cat.) The AC is central, so it’s quiet. The bed is comfortable, as is the duvet. The shower is great (hot water and good pressure.) They have coffee, orange pound cake slices, and water bottles for breakfast, which is very useful to hit the town without wasting too much time.
There are some nice touches. For instance, when you arrive, they offer you a beverage, like tea or lemonade.

Great service and location, the stuff is friendly and communicative. Near the centre and everything.
The curtains in the room were not wide enough, so the bright light woke me up early in the morning. The shower enclosure was low, and it was easy to bump my head if I wasn’t careful. From the ground-floor room, there was no sea view at all, even though the hotel showed photos taken from higher floors where the sea is visible.

感觉性价比并不是很高。
