We enjoyed our two week stay in Murcia, a relaxed traditional Spanish city.

The apartment was comfortable and the location was excellent. Murcia is a wonderful small city, with a great history and buildings, art galleries and museums - some of them free - lots of parks and gardens, river walks, lovely plazas for outdoor dining, and excellent shops, all of which are only a few minutes walk away from the apartment. There are also lots of amenities like shops, cafes and restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood. Public transport is close by, cheap and efficient, and it is easy to access beautiful beaches and the mountains.

A small point. The accommodation is advertised with a patio. From a British perspective a patio is a paved area large enough to sit out at a table and chairs for meals. The apartment has only a small balcony.

1. Cold apartment, extremely cold floor, got a cold standing on a marble floor in the bathroom. 2. Water pressure in bathroom very weak. 3. Internet slow and sometimes not working. 4. No kettle for tea - when I asked they told me to heat water in microwave which was so smelly. 5. The bed was broken on arrival. They fixed, but don't you have to check before? And bed is bad, uncomfortable. 6. Huge noise from elavator and also from neighbours. 7. Dark bedroom, and apartment, very little natural light.

Location is ok
