We enjoyed our stay at this Hot Springs Village lake house very much. The house was comfortable, clean, and there was plenty of space for our family. Our younger children loved hanging out on the boat dock and going for rides in the kayak--with an adult in the kayak :) The landscaping was so lovely and we appreciated all the outdoor seating on the deck as well as down by the water. The property--inside and outside was in good condition. There were a few things that needed updating--a clogged sink, some doors needing work, the ice maker wasn't working--but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable. I didn't realize that one of the bedrooms was accessible only from an outside door--our teenaged son loved having his own suite and entrance, but it also kept our family separated, which I didn't love :) That would have been a good piece of information to know ahead of time. This was a beautiful location, very peaceful, very comfortable. The drive into Hot Springs is about half an hour, but it's a pretty drive. There was a grocery store near the house (about 10 minutes) and that was great. I would stay at this house again, but prepare differently knowing what I know now--bring bottled water (the tap water wasn't too great), be prepared to do some driving if you want to go into Hot Springs, it might not be a great spot for those with mobility problems (unless they don't mind missing out on the dock). There were some good restaurants in Hot Springs Village, so that was nice, too.

Our group was 4 guys there for long weekend. The house was perfect as we were looking for a bedroom with a queen or larger bed for everyone and this met our needs perfectly. There were 3 bathrooms It is an interesting house. One bedroom downstairs a little isolated from the others. One bedroom upstairs and two in the main level. We had a request to the host to check in early. Despite having a guest there the previous night, they allowed us to check in early which was very nice and honestly unexpected given a guest there the previous night We did have a minor issue with the wifi. The SSID provided did not exist. We tried to contact the owner but they were not able to respond until the next morning. The problem was literally the SSID, there was another visible network with a different SSID that turned out to be the correct one that was working the whole time. Kind of sloppy in this one, but that was the only issue so not a big deal to us. The deck seating is nice, we didn't go down to the boat dock but it looked good. Obviously can't comment on the fishing there. We likely would rent this again for our trip next year.

Property upon stay was not clean. The details regarding the outside bedroom was not clear. We searched for the extra room. The house was spacious. Just needed a good cleaning. Felt like it had been cooped up a while
