We had a lovely stay at the cabin. The place was clean and being right on the beach was a treat. I had an issue with internet network - when I reached out to confirm the network name and password, I didn’t get a clear response. Other than that, the experience was great!

I recently stayed with my husband and 2 young grandsons. Four days before our trip, i inquired what cookware the kitchen included and whether there was a toaster. I didn't get a response until we were already in Mackinaw. There wasn't a broom and dustpan, so you can image all the sand that was inside the cabin being on the beach. I was able to ask the cleaning gal and she came through for me with a broom. The refrigerator started to freeze all of our food on the first night, so I turned it down to 1 from 4. The next morning everything was frozen through, so we turned it to zero... which defrosted it and we ended up with a puddle on the floor. I had to through away most of our food. I didn't get an email for check in OR check out as VBRO states. We really like the idea of staying at a cabin on the beach, but this experience wasn't it for us. Also, the watermarks are run down with portions closed or not working. Our grandsons are too young to care, but we did. We probably won'r be returning. Side note: there is a toaster and a couple of stovetop cookware.
