Regularly authorized by the Authority with authorization no. 2612 In downtown Rome, few steps from Piazza Navona, St. Peter’s and the Vatican, and from Spanish Steps, and in the heart of the roman shopping district, on the fourth floor of a prestigious building from the early 20th century, with elevator and doorman. Recently and accurately restructured (cold/warm air conditioning), this apartment, elegantly furnished, is made of well separated rooms: - two large double bedrooms (one of which with a small balcony), with all comforts; - a large and cozy living room (with a double sofa-bed 63"x78,74") and the fully equipped kitchen (dishes, accessories, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, etc.); - two stylish bathroom, complete with showers. The large rooms, each with its exclusive touch, with stucco decorations and four-meter high ceilings, fully cover the needs of just a couple, two couples, or of a family, for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Had a great time. Apartment was perfect for our needs and was close to everything and perfectly located. Nice residential area with a number of great restaurant options. The pizza place that was recommended was awesome and we went back multiple times. Overall, would do it again and the accommodations were everything we were looking for.

Cannot say enough about how wonderful everything was! The apartment was perfect..spacious...clean...quiet...GREAT location...safe...had everything we needed. Giovanni was a great host, from before we got there, to helping us set up transportation, meeting us when we arrived, helping us find our way around, suggestions on restaurants, and keeping in touch while we were there. We will definitely be back and hope we can stay longer!

My husband, my niece and I stayed for a week at Casa Visconti. The apartment is very nice and comfortable with a lot of natural light. It is located in a nice local neighborhood with nice cafes, markets and restaurants. It is a 15 minute walk to the Vatican and 10 minute walk to the nearest metro stop. Giovanni, the owner, was most gracious. I highly recommend and would stay again on future trips to Roma.

Not only is this spacious apartment lovely inside and out, but it is located within walking distance to all the sites. The neighborhood is safe and quiet at night. This apartment is a hidden gem and look forward to staying here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Visconti. Giovanni was wonderful and available for any question promptly. He counseled us through a couple of bumps in the road related to travel. He even offered to call the airport for us over our missing luggage and made recommendations for an emergency optical situation. A very generous host indeed.
I know it sounds odd but don’t miss going to Morrisons, the Irish Pub across the street. The food is great and the ambiance is vey friendly and casual. We also really enjoyed our daily Cafe Americana and pastries from Brown & Co every morning. The Marinara Pizza at Pizzeria San Marcos was amazing! I had some life changing pasta e fagoli and a tiny spot near Trevi Fountain.
We also did a day trip to Florence that was very good though a little intimidating to use the public transport and the train. We did it though!!! We loved Mercado Centale. Hustle bustle busy but a delight to experience.
The flat is perfect. You will need to supply your own salt, pepper. etc but that is understandable during the pandemic.
In other strange highlights, I really enjoyed having bidets in the bathrooms!

This is an amazing property that is quite walkable to all the attractions of Rome. The Colosseum was the furthest away but if you are able-bodied the walk is just beautiful.
It is also extremely close to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.
We could not have been happier.
The apartment is in a beautiful old building and the elevator is charming.
The neighbourhood is extremely safe, even at night,
The host Giovanni was nothing short of spectacular.
He was super helpful and even arranged for transportation from the airport for us. He gave us a little tour of the neighbourhood as well and pointed out some nice restaurants and markets.
We enjoyed it so much we wanted to go back but of course he was booked:(

What an incredibly lovely place to stay in Rome! We are so pleased with our decision to stay at Casa Visconti. The property is conveniently located, just a block away from the Vatican, is beautifully appointed and sparkling clean! We only wish we had more time to stay. The host, Giovanni, was extremely gracious, checking for any special needs before we arrived and even arranged for transportation from the airport to the property and then transportation to the port at the conclusion of our stay. He gave us recommendations for local restaurants, shopping tips, and transportation needs; probably the most accommodating VRBO host we’ve ever had. We are two Retired couples who travel together often and frequently use VRBOs and all agree this among the best. If either of us is lucky enough to return to Rome, we will hope to stay at Casa Visconti.

Giovanni is incredible host, extremely helpful, meets you at door walks you through everything even takes you to the corner to point out resurrants and grocery store. All suggestions were perfect , A/C units were fantastic , comfortable beds , elevator, fantastic for a family, large and spacious. My family of 6 stayed in the 2 bedroom portion of the apartment and utilized the pull out couch as well. To begin with, Giovanni met us at the apartment when we arrived and went over the basics of the apartment and the area. Giovanni also was kind enough to set up transportation for us from the airport since we were a larger group and were coming in a little late. That was very helpful and appreciated!
In general the apartment was fine and served its purpose. I really enjoyed the location and was able to walk both to the Vatican and to the Piazza Navona, etc with relative ease. It is only a few blocks from a central area to easily get a taxi too. I enjoyed being in more of a neighborhood setting that was less touristy. There are 4 keys to enter the building and get all the way into the apartment as well as a "light" card. Overall the stay was pleasant. My only critique would be the showers are small and the walls to the shared hallway are thin. I would recommend this for others and would consider staying here again in the future.

Property location is a key. It’s a really nice neighborhood with a grocery store and lots of restaurants nearby. Vatican is only 15 minutes walk. Giovanni is a great host with excellent communication. Apartment is on the 4th floor in an old building and has a very cute elevator. It matches the pictures, nothing fancy, but you really spend the day out and about when in Rome. Both bedrooms have queen size beds which was a rare find for our dates and this location and for us it was a big deal.

This was a great property in the middle of Prati which was very convenient to where our daughter was studying. The property had 2 good size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you do have bigger luggage there is a small lift that helped. Be patient and read the directions on how to use the lift as well as the locks/door procedures as there are several to navigate. We loved how close it was to attractions, restaurants and gelato!

Best described as a value added property. Nothing fancy.....it just works. Giavonni was nothing short of fantastic in helping arrange transportation from the airport and a private gold cart tour with Anna Maria (Awesome guide). In the quite section of Rome, but easy walking distance to many of the attractions. Cab stand 2 blocks away for the more distant locations on your list. Be warned....small shower and no tub! Definitely worth the price.

We could have not asked for anything better. This apartment is spacious and in the perfect location - great neighborhood with grocery and restaurants, walking distance to Spanish steps and other sights as well as the Vatican. The property manager (Giovanni) was terrific. Very welcoming when I arrived by myself the night before my friends. And when I left a few items behind, he went above and beyond to help me get them back. I wouldn't stay or recommend anywhere else. This is the best.

This is a nice rental. Nothing fancy. Great location. Giovanni was awesome to deal with. Coordinated our pick-up at the airport and the ride back. The one constant complaint from my GF was she wanted more bathroom towels. Can't beat the price.

There are Plenty space for everyone.
I would just suggest to provide more bath towels, paper towels , toilet paper and hand soap, especially, for one week stay guests. Otherwise, everything was fine!

The entire process was very easy. Giovanni was great to deal with and very responsive. Met us when we arrived and took us through everything in the rental and offered dining suggestions. Very safe neighbourhood with a great variety of eating choices. Overall super happy with this experience

Giovanni was a great host and was there to meet us when we arrived. He pointed out the closest grocery store and fruit/veg market. Very helpful and gracious. Great location for this property. Lots of good restaurants, grocery stores, and bars very close. Easy walking distance to all the major attractions. Felt safe walking after dinner in the evening. The building was secure. Our washing machine was a great addition and the elevator worked very well.
A full-size fridge is always a bonus in Europe. The common space of kitchen, sitting area was large enough that we didn't feel crowded.
We thought the shared entrance hallway could be a problem depending on the people in the one-bedroom apartment on the other side of the hallway.
The only other issue we thought was a problem was 3 units in the building were under renovation and there was construction noise from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday to Saturday. Our host Giovanni has absolutely no control about this issue but we felt we should have been informed of these renovations when we first asked about renting. This is also why we only gave 3 stars for cleanliness; construction dust gets in the windows and doors.
Except for the construction issue, we would definitely recommend this property.

We had a 2 night stay at this property, and found everything to be just as advertised. It is a charming apartment in the heart of Rome, only a short walk to St Peters basilica. Our family of 5 stayed very comfortably in the unit (kids 22, 19, 14), with our two daughters sharing the 2nd bedroom and our son (19) comfortably staying on the pull-out bed in the main living area/kitchen. Two bathrooms to comfortably accommodate all of us. The apartment was clean. The beds were comfortable. Giovanni took great care of us at check-in and communicated very responsibly. Very reasonably priced (good value) considering the location and the comfort that the unit provided (and just as advertised). All-in, can’t think of a single reason to rate this unit as anything less than a 5. Would definitely stay again.

Giovanni was an excellent host, communication with him was fast and easy. He was very friendly with lots of help, information, tips and directions. He helped us by arranging a taxi to the airport at the end of the trip. Giovanni’s property looked just like the photos it was a beautiful and spacious place full of Italian charm. The property was well appointed and in a great location. We were less than a 10 minute walk to Vatican City. We were close to great restaurants, gelato shops, and cafes. We were also steps away from a wonderful fruit and vegetable stand, as well as a small market for other needs. We had a great vacation in Rome; and we would definitely stay again at Giovanni’s property and highly recommend it to anyone going to Rome looking for a place to stay!
