The cottage is very thoughtfully set out, with the guests needs in mind for a wonderful break. It was so clean, the beds are comfortable and everything is good quality. We were very comfortable and the hot tub and sauna are a real bonus.

It is set in a very quite and peaceful location.
I am not a fan of fire stoves as couldn’t manage to regulate the temperature and it was either too cold or too worm but that was most likely own fault.
Slightly inconvenient having to walk around to the back garden and to always unlock and lock the gate. The layout of the back garden is very different to how it was shown in the pictures.
Indoors, there was a lot of dust behind the beds and dishes were not clean, had marks of grease. This could be feedback to the cleaning company.
Slightly inconvenient having to drive to find a place to eat, the local pub was not open according to the schedule on google or the paper provided.

We liked that it is a private setting, and still near to good roads to M4. The place is very clean, we felt comfortable straight away and did not have to clean anything ourselves. The beds are such good quality. After having several terrible experiences in the Newport area, we finally found a clean and comfortable place. The hosts made us feel very welcome too and were very attentive. And the hot tub and sauna were a welcome extra to relax after a day out.
