Christmas holiday was ruined it was not cosy cottage as advertised do not stay here.

Everything could have been better the carpets were thread bare , the furniture was old and tried the kitchen was old and tried the pictures on the internet do not show how old and tried the places is. The heating could have been turned on there was no cosy feel to the place as discribed it was like going back in time. The towels were old and crusty we would not recommend briar cottage to anyone.

8 / 10

A cosy and comfortable country cottage in a peaceful, scenic location.

A comfortable and cosy cottage in a peaceful location, clean and tidy but pleasantly homely. Excellent parking and generous supplies of logs and coal for the open fire.

There’s nothing we didn’t like.
