It is less than a half mile from the lake shore, Crown Point State Park, boat ramp, trailhead, and 10 minutes from downtown Cascade. If fishing is in your plans, you are already aware that the Cascade Lake fishery is drawing national attention as a wonderful place to catch a variety of fish. Crown Point Trail is a half mile away where you can hike, bike, snowshoe, or cross-country ski. Blumisalp has massive west facing windows giving way to lots of light and a wonderful view of West Mountain peaks. There is a large front deck with gas BBQ to fry those fish and an outdoor table to enjoy the view and breathe the fresh mountain air. Inside, there is comfortable seating for conversation and a TV with DirecTV. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and one bathroom (shower, no tub) downstairs, and two queens in the spacious upstairs loft. If you want affordable, close to Cascade Lake, and close to town, this cabin should fit the bill perfectly.
