Situated in Gresham, this lovely house for $692 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. If you are looking to get away from it all, but still be a reasonable drive to Portland or Mt. Hood then The Karam Estate is the place for your family or group. Sitting just under two miles to Persimmon Golf Club and three miles to groceries and restaurants you will find everything you will need a short drive away while escaping 27 to acres of pastures, forests, and farmland in every direction. As you arrive you will see there is ample parking for a good number of cars and trucks on the roundabout style driveway making coming and going quite easy. Entering the estate there is a split level layout both of which have a number of amenities. The upper level enjoys a spacious living area with plush and cozy seating that connects to the dining room that wraps around to the kitchen as well. For larger groups, there is an additional kitchenette with an oven on the lower level if you need. Every bit of décor and furnishing in this home is new and has been curated to create that perfect blend of comfort and style for your stay. Also attached to this area is a sun room that has been transformed into an area with seating, puzzles, and games on one side and the other has some casual seating next to the electric fireplace. Finishing off the upper portion of the home are three bedrooms. One of which has a king bed and en-suite bathroom and the other two have queen beds share a second full bath. Descending to the lower level you will find an incredible living / media room with a large TV, gaming console, tons of tableside seating, gaming chairs, and a twin over twin bunk. The lower level sun room is loaded with fun and games. In here you will find, foosball, air hockey, cornhole, and spikeball. Play inside if the weather doesn't cooperate or head out on to the back patio where there there are two fire-pits (one gas and one wood) surrounded with Adirondack chairs overlooking the manicured lawn, trees, rolling hills, and the pastures beyond. Without a doubt, you will want to spend every moment here you can. The Karam Estate sits close to midway between Portland and Government Camp on Mt. Hood. It is a truly wonderful destination any time of the year to enjoy. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all. We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring the interior of the house. Special Information: This property sits on 27 acres and sits on a working farm. In the distance, you may occasionally see farm related activity. They will give you all the distance and privacy possible. If you choose to explore, please don't go beyond any fences or fence posts. I hate staying at a VRBO with a management company. But not this time. The management company did their job. I did not have to go to another site to rebook everything g I already booked. Lots of the management companies do this but this one did not. They did EVERYTHING they said they’d do. Just awesome. I would use them if I had a VRBO. Oh house was great too. Everything worked well and very comfortable.

House was well stocked with everything we needed. Pots, pans, dishes, towels, sheets, blankets, etc were all of good quality and plentiful. I appreciated having all the spices, teas, soaps, and cleaning products. We didn't need them but it was awesome having four refrigerators! There were 14 of us celebrating Christmas and it was nice we could all hang out together in one area. Lots of activity options available from games, puzzles, nintendo, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and even yoga mats for a morning workout. My only complaint was we struggled to regulate the temperature in the house. Everyone sleeping downstairs was cold so extra blankets and snuggling were needed. I would definitely rent this house again.

We went over thanksgiving weekend. The house was perfect and accommodated all 12 of us comfortably, lots of indoor activities at the house itself (so even in the cold we were having a great time). The kitchen was well equipped, we were able to cook a big thanksgiving dinner (minus the turkey). We enjoyed a hike close by, and went into the city twice where we visited Powells books (a MUST in my opinion), the Zoo and had delicious food in town (definitely try Kasbah moroccan restaurant). We also enjoyed smores and a cozy time around the fire pit. Overall great place to stay!

This home is more than just being esthetically pleasing, it was luxurious! No shortcuts! Everyone woke up rested and breakfast talk was about how nice the beds, pillows and linens are. Separate activity areas made it so we could all enjoy the house and not be on top of each other. They all want to rent again!

We enjoyed our weekend at the Karam Estate. The outdoor space was very relaxing and the kids had fun running around in the yard. Inside, everything was as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out if they wanted. Overall, the house worked out very well for our family.

Our home was being renovated. So in a pinch we needed some where to stay for 3 weeks. This home was excellent and exceptional. So many fun things for the kids to do. The sun porches were so cozy and fun to hang out in. The two kitchens and two laundry rooms were amazing! We had a blast staying here. We are so happy to be able to finally move home but I would totally recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a roomy, cozy and fun home for the family.

This was the perfect place to have my entire family under one roof! The property comfortably held all 8 adults for 3 nights. We spent a lot of time playing cards in the downstairs family room as well as the sun room playing air hockey and foosball. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so we didn’t have an opportunity to use the outside amenities. We had a great time and willl definitely be back.
