When I arrived it was a wonderful little place. Perfect to just hangout or if we wanted to leave there was everything just about a 10-15 minute drive away. The host was great, we got responses fast and the cleanliness was great. If I had to change one thing I would say the bathroom door was a little difficult to open at times but other than that everything was great. Thank you again!

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. This place is such a vibe. So cute & relaxing. Smooth check-in/checkout. Host are amazing & accommodating. The attention to detail like the fresh herbs and the handmade soap was a cherry on top. I will definitely be coming back.

This was a great little place to stay. The small house was just right for two. I loved the light coming in during the day. I appreciated the privacy it offered. The neighborhood was pretty quiet. This was my first trip to San Diego and I was unsure about where to stay and if things would work out. With this location it wasn't that bad with taking a lyft to the places I went, including from and to the airport. I pre-ordered a lyft the night before for a very early flight. Also I was on the fence about renting a car, but I definitely know that it would work out just fine there related to parking. The hosts were lovely and full of great energy and I have to say they got their short-term rental process on point. Definitely ready for visitors, and I felt safe there. I would stay there again. Thank you!

Well it was my 50th Birthday and wanted to get back to San Diego & go down to TJ. I enjoyed my stay. I’ve been here for work many times and I knew I wanted to live here. This trip let me see a lot of neighborhoods that would be nice to settle in from Chicago. I think I could eat Pho,Thai and street tacos everyday. Found some nice really nice things down in TJ. They weather was beauty. This is a cute little house and it was very comfortable and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay here & everything was as pictured. The space was accommodating for our family of 3. The bed was very comfortable & soft. Having extra towels was a plus. One drawback was the cleanliness of the floors, they really could have used a quick mop between stays. We had to wear socks or shoes, otherwise our feet were black. Neighborhood is a mix of both older and remodeled homes, but we never felt unsafe. We appreciated the owner being accommodating with parking.

This was a great place to stay, just minutes outside downtown San Diego. It is very clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen and nice finishes all around. I would stay here again if I’m back in the area!

What an adorable property! Exactly as advertised. The host went out of his way to make sure we had a parking spot. Location is close to everything. Very clean, bed is super comfortable and the decor is modern. It sits behind the main house but we always felt like we had privacy. Humming bird feeders hang in a tree next to the sitting area and it was so peaceful. Would definitely go back if we find ourselves in San Diego again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The communication with Javier was always quick and clear. I asked if he could accommodate an early check in time for us and he went above and beyond for our request. The space was clean and appears to have been recently remodeled. It was a very quiet area. The bed slept GREAT! We will definitely stay there again when we come back to the San Diego area.

This is a great hidden gem amongst all the overpriced vrbos. The host was very helpful and responsive. The casita was clean and extremely comfortable. While there is a shared driveway/backyard, you feel as though you are in your own location. This casita location is centrally located to all of the scenic areas of San Diego. Only about 15-20 minutes from where you want to go. I highly recommend and would absolutely book this location again!

Beautiful place, cute neighborhood. Went on a 40 minute walk around 10pm and it was so peaceful and quiet. Even saw 2 amazingly beautiful owls hanging out on the telephone poles. That made our night! Would definitely stay here again

We were in town for National University's graduation and Casita Rustica was a great location for our San Diego weekend. Perfect for the two of us, comfortable and quiet in spite of being in a neighborhood in the city. Hosts are on site and available for questions and ideas for adventure. (Though we never even knew they were there - its so quiet!) We'd definitely stay again!

Super clean and comfortable. Beautiful inside and out with great modern bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. Easy to access with door code and even wifi and bluetooth sound system in the house. VRBO host responded very quickly to messages and even gave an expert "local" recommendation for a great dinner experience. I really enjoyed the built-in bluetooth speakers that paired to my phone to play music and the bedside charger for my iPhone! I was able to get downtown and to Balboa Park and Gaslamp quickly and also quick access to the airport and La Jolla.
