About this cabin rental
Number 4 in builds for the Box Hop, the Roca Box Hop - pronounced [ROH] + [KUH] means “rock” in Spanish, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting name for this hop; a whimsical home wedged between towering rocks. The aesthetic in this box is eclectic and unique and fun! Like a fairytale, the Roca transports you to a world of its own, where you can cozy up with a book, pull out a board game or simply sit and enjoy the view and sounds of nature all around.
INSIDE HIGHLIGHTS:
2 bedrooms; 1 queen size beds with lofted twinXL above & 1 king size bed
One full bathroom & One half bathroom
Full kitchen stocked with cookware & serving dishes
Washer and dryer
Air mattress (queen) available
The Roca was the first Box Hop built on the new 75 acre parcel of land just 5 minutes from the original property. Once you enter the property, you wind into its beauty to find the Roca tucked in a canyon. It is an adventure of its own driving up to the hop and turning in between towering rock cliffs as you arrive. On the property, we have a couple marked trails where you can hike to access a large cave and waterfall just around the bend from The Roca’s outdoor deck.
The suspended outdoor deck houses the hot tub, gas grill and also includes at outdoor shower. This deck is the perfect lookout to see all the canyon has to offer.

It's worth noting that the property is a total of 75 acres, home to 2 waterfalls and a plethora of hiking possibilities right on site.
Pet Policy: we allow up to 2 dogs at this property. Tenant shall remit to Host a pet fee in the amount of One hundred and No/100 Dollars ($100.00) for pet(s) on the Premises, which is due and payable at the same time and by the same method as Tenant’s payment of Rent. We ask that you keep your dogs off of furniture, don't leave them unattended at the house and clean up any waste.

We just returned from a weekend stay at the Roca Box Hop and we are still in awe. From the moment we arrived and wound through the canyon, tucking in between those towering rock cliffs, we knew this was going to be something special. The word that kept coming to mind all weekend was magical — it genuinely felt like stepping into a fairy tale.
The property and decor are absolutely stunning. The way the space is designed, nestled right into the natural landscape, rivals the beauty of the most iconic landmarks Hocking Hills has to offer. It’s one thing to visit the area’s famous caves and formations, and quite another to actually live among them for a weekend.
The weather didn’t cooperate, but honestly? It didn’t matter one bit. That’s a true testament to how thoughtfully the hosts have designed this experience. Emily and Seth have clearly thought of everything — every comfort, every detail. You never once feel like anything is missing.
We also took advantage of the celebration delivery for our son’s birthday, and it made the trip extra memorable. That little touch of personalization went a long way and truly made him feel special.
If you’re looking for a getaway that’s unlike anything else — beautiful, unique, immersive, and incredibly well-hosted — the Roca Box Hop is it. We can’t wait to come back.

This place was unlike any other I have stayed at. HOW COOL! The build and attention to certain detail was amazing. Very sweet experience. Would definitely like to try another like this again.
