We surprised our teenage daughter (15) and son (13) with an overnight stay at this amazing property on our way to Universal Studios Orlando. We are all huge Harry Potter fans and could not have been more impressed with the level of theming and care put into this property. Kristi was welcoming, communicative and made our stay an immersive, relaxing, memorable experience. We found everything to be very comfortable and did not find anything to be lacking for our stay (the only exception being that I like to have more than one pillow per person, but I also didn't look very hard to see if more were stored elsewhere). Although the owner has several other properties nearby, we found the space to still be private and loved that restaurants and stores were only a short drive away. Having stayed in this magnificent property, we completely understand the owner's very reasonable "house rules" in order to preserve this extraordinary space for future guests to enjoy- this is definitely not a suitable place for young children. We really wish we would have been able to stay longer and we hope to return in the future to experience some of the other awesome properties here. These properties are very obviously a labor of love and no detail has been overlooked- truly a magical experience that our family highly recommends!

We booked our stay because we were going to visit Rock City and Ruby Falls. The listing said to tell the host if we had children under 6 years old. My kids are 6 and 12 years of age so we disnt think there would be an issue. Im sure they have changed the listing since our ordeal. I made sure to take screenshots. The pics looked like unique place. They mentioned Harry Potter in the listing. Being a Messianic Jew i wasnt to keen on the witchcraft motif but whatever. The host said they would contact us by phone. They never did. But they sent this list of rules AFTER we booked which included no fried chicken and or fried foods at all. Would have been nice to know ahead of time and not after i made the reservation. No fried chicken? That meant Chik-fil-A and Zacby's as well. Guess they didnt want "The Lord's Chicken" to chase off the spirits. The concern was grease and oil but you can eat all the greasy pizza you want according to their other review. Their The host then starts talking about this property like its the antique store from Friday The 13th: the series! Dont touch things or move anything or whatever. The Gf and I talked about and were uncomfortable even staying there so we asked to cancel. We didnt wanna get charged a fee cause they claim a "collectible" is missing. Or having one of my kids open a Great Value copy of the Necronomicon and summoning a Lesser Demon to follow us around to talk to us about our car's extended warranty till Armageddon.

Girls weekend, so much fun in a fun home.

To say this place is magical is a huge understatement! The photos do not do it justice! If you can add any of the goodies the host offers, I would suggest it, it added even more to the magic. I brought our 4 children and we spent the entire day and night just looking at everything-the detail was unbelievable. There was a place in town that served amazing pizza and we ran out to bring that back for dinner. My younger children brought their costume Harry potter robes and pretended they were wizards the entire time. My older ones really enjoyed the ambiance and snuggling to watch a Harry potter movie at night. Thank you to the host for a magical night as a family!
