Centrally located in the heart of Avon, on a quiet cul-de-sac, you are less than 50 feet to beach access, yet convenient to the Avon pier, shopping, and dining —this 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is perfect for the entire group. The fun does not stop after a day in the sun! Enjoy your own private pool area, hot tub, large yard, screened porch or unwind on the sundeck. Don't forget your 4-legged friend… Krazy 4 Shore is dog-friendly! Ground Level: Ground Level Amenities include a carport and driveway that accommodates up to 5 vehicles, a hot tub, a private pool, an outside shower, a spacious yard, corn hole, and a charcoal grill. Single Level: As you enter the home, you'll immediately notice the cathedral ceilings with exposed beams and skylights throughout the open living area. The living area has access to the sun deck and is furnished with a large sectional sofa and TV. The chef's kitchen is equipped with gourmet appliances, granite countertops, all of the cookware you will need to prepare today's catch, a breakfast bar that seats 4, and a dining table that seats 8. Bedrooms #1 and 2 are each furnished with a Queen bed, a TV, and share a full spacious bathroom located off the hallway. Bedroom #3 is furnished with a King bed and a TV. Bedroom #4 is furnished with a Pyramid Bunk (Twin over Full)… perfect for the little ones in your group! Another full hallway bathroom is located between Bedrooms #3 and #4. Extras: Private pool, hot tub, tiki bar with built-in swings, firepit, corn hole, horseshoes, yard connect four, oversized Jenga, outside shower, charcoal grill, 4 TVs, pack-n-play, high chair, WiFi, Keurig, screened porch, sun decks, deck furniture, and parking for 6 vehicles. No Smoking/Vaping. Dogs Welcome. Distance to beach access: 425 feet. Beds: 1 King, 2 Queens, 1 Pyramid Bunk with Twin Trundle (Twin over Full). Key Type: Keyless Entry. Check-In Location: At the Property. PRIVATE POOL is open from April - October Pool Heat is an additional $500 per week Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub. IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTES/ LEASE AGREEMENT/ ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL FEES: Please read the RENTAL AGREEMENT during the booking process. Immediately after booking you will receive an email with instructions to electronically sign your lease agreement to complete your reservation. When making the reservation online, I couldn't locate info about military discounts. I called to ask and was told we couldn't have a discount because we only booked 5 nights (at over $1700). Even if we had booked a week, we couldn't get s discount after the original booking. We could, however; add an additional day at the front end of stay for $187, which we declined. Why couldn't all the days be less than $200?
At first arrival, we noticed slats missing from the outdated and yellowed plastic blinds at the entry door window. Not an inviting look! Upon getting settled in, we turned off HVAC system to air out the smell of overbearing cleaning products or air fresheners.
Evidently they we're never used on windows or blinds, as they are all pretty dirty. The shower curtain in the VW curtain bathroom is moldy on the bottom.
Overall, besides those, things were clean inside.
The house was very well-stocked with essentials and even spices! The furnishings were comfy but a lamp and small table is needed in the King room on the other side of the bed.
We loved all the beach signs throughout the property!!
The picnic table on entry deck is riddled with old stains. We wiped away the surface dirt but it needs sanded and painted!
The screen in the window that opens out onto the entry steps fell out of window when I raised the blinds, which is the only thing holding it in. The other window in that room is so clouded you can't see out of it.
We didn't request for the pool to be heated but, we did expect it to be clean. It had a couple of piles of debris swirling in the bottom.
Lots of updates could be done to make this a cleaner-looking and welcoming property. We would think twice before recommending to others.

Everything was exactly as expected if not better! That kids room is a real bonus with the trundle bed. You can easily sleep 4 kids or if they are small like ours it probably would have fit 10!

Great spot in Avon. Beach is a short walk and the pool and hot tub offer you to take a sand free moment. Would recommend and would certainly stay again if the southern beaches are what you're looking for.

This property is a perfect family retreat. There were 4 of us and the dog and had room to spare. We loved the central dining table for meals and playing games. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking with lots of counter space. We all enjoyed the pool and appreciated the plethora of chairs and lounges around the pool. The beach entrance is very close but has many stairs to get up and over the dune so may be tough for visitors with less mobility. View from the top of the dune of the beach and Avon fishing pier is beautiful! Our only complaint was the presence of small, mostly invisible cactus on and around the property. It was difficult for the dog and bare feet/sandals anywhere but on the driveway. We enjoyed the Avon area - several good places to eat, a close grocery store but in a small, friendly community. Hatteras lighthouse national park is not far and has great ranger programs (check their scheduled events - shore fishing, kayaks, dark skies star viewing on the beach, etc!). Lots of charter fishing opportunities not too far either.

We had a wonderful stay at Krazy 4 Shore. The house was fantastic and had everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better time. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi password and the property management team fixed the issue within minutes.

We loved our stay at krazy 4 shore! Super short walk to the beach and the pool was such a great luxury to have after a hot morning on the beach or when the ocean was a little rough. The house was wonderful and had everything our family of 4 (plus 1 dog) needed with extras to spare! Working with shore details was also a very seamless process and communication was effective. No complaints from us!

We love the condo. It was clean, well supplied all the things we needed. My granddaughters loves the hot in. It was a short walk to the beach and it was not over crowded.
The weather didn't cooperate. It was sunshine only one day we were there.but we all enjoyed the beach regardless. This was one of the best locations and rental we have had.

This was a great rental for a peaceful getaway with my husband and our dog . We had quests for a couple days as well . Nice home . Perfect location . Delicious food in the area and the pool was key to full enjoyment. Everything was great
One suggestion would have been a guest info book to inform renters of areas attractions and a place to write a message . We loved the assortment of games and the kitchen is very well set up and filled with supplies . I would rent again

My husband and I spent two weeks here in the off season and had an amazing time ! It’s so close to the beach and necessities (restaurants, groceries). The place itself was super clean and well maintained! It’s also so well stocked for cooking and nights in. You won’t regret staying here !

The house is very comfortable & well furnished, the shower/tub needed scrubbing & was dirty but everything else was as described. The biggest issue I had was that check out is 10 am , and the owner started texting the day before check out wanting an exact time we would be gone & those texts continued first thing the next morning, if it is expected that a family checks out earlier then listed time for the maid services to come clean, it should be in the listing . We felt rushed and it ruined the last day.

Crazy 4 Shore was a super-cute cottage that was close to a beach access, in addition to, shops in the area. We enjoyed having a pool and hot tub to use when we didn't want to be on the beach. And, we loved the screen porch! It was great, too, that we could bring our pet. The owner was great with her communications.

We had a great time at Tamara’s place. My wife and I stayed with our two kids, as well as my parents, brother, sister and brother-in-law. The pool was a big hit, it’s a perfect size for little kids as well as adults looking for a soak. The house was also very close to the beach, and we were lucky to have good weather all week, in between hurricanes! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable beach vacation in OBX.

Great Location steps from the beach. Pool was great especially important on red flag days. Hot tub was amazing especially early in the morning when the kids were still asleep. Only 1 mile from a very well stocked grocery. Plenty of good places to eat in the area. Really appreciate how much more quiet the area is than up north which is exactly what we wanted. Kids loved riding boogy boards in the surf and chasing crabs at night. Favorite place to eat was Diamond Shoals. Went for a day of fishing in the Atlantic. Also took the ferry over over to Ocracoke and rented a golf cart for the day. Kids got me an Ugly mug from the coffee shop across the Street for fathers day. Overall a a great vacation.

We had a fantastic time staying in this lovely home. It's close to everything which made it very convenient for our family with young children. There is construction going on in the neighborhood but it wasn't a bother to us, we were just happy to feel at home, so far away from our own!

We have stayed in the 4 Play house twice now and each trip has been amazing. The owners are very friendly and the house is always clean. We loved the location as it was right next to the beach access and only a short walk on the beach to the pier. The house has a fun and relaxing vibe. We bring many surfboards with us and there is plenty of space and surf racks for storing them overnight. The fire pit is very nice and the owners supply wood and kindling. We all loved being on the beach all day and sitting by the fire at night. There is a house being built next door but we never had any issue with construction noise. We were on the beach most of the day but even when we came back for lunch we didn't notice any noise. When we came home for dinner the workers had already gone home for the day. We have stayed in many houses in Rodanthe and Hatteras but the 4 Play house is by far our favorite. I would recommend this house to all of my friends and family and we will be back every year.

For all but two of the 7 of us guys it was our first trip to the Outer Banks. I'm in my fifties and most were in their 20's/30's. We went down to kite surf and to learn to kite surf on our fathers & sons adventure. Though of few slept in from time to time, we were gone much of the day until dinner time for many of the days we had stayed. Though they were building a brand new home next to us, we never really noticed it. This place met all our needs and was a great price, especially being just over the dune from the ocean. We didn't realize it until later after touring around the peninsula, how great a location we had. In my opinion, Avon is the best spot within 30 miles either direction. My brother who was not a part of the trip, encouraged us to stay there since he travels to this area every year.
Charlie, was a great host and very accommodating. He didn't have too, but did go the extra mile to help us with our trip on more than one occasion. The home was set up great with 3 bedrooms and two baths. One of the guys couldn't get over how nice the outside shower facility was for cleaning off after hitting the surf. He was surprised it had both hot & cold running water along with several other outdoor taps near the car port to rinse our stuff off.
We have already started talking about coming back later in the year which is sooner than we expected. This place is first on our list to use again when we do. Charlie, thank you for creating a very peaceful & quiet home for our guys' getaway. It was the right choice.

Great location with the beach being just a 2-3 minute walk away. The beach was not packed and the sand was clean to play/walk on. The house itself was nicely setup with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Restaurants were close and we walked to get ice cream at night.
The reason I can't give it 5 stars is right next door (I mean like 20 feet right outside of 2 of the bedrooms) there was a new house being built. It was very loud and construction started every morning at 7 am sharp and went to about 5-6 pm non stop. Loud trucks pulling in and out all day long. The house has a very nice screened in porch which we could not use because of the noise. We could not hear ourselves talk out there. I feel this should have been mentioned when we booked it. If anyone rents this house in the next couple of months they will have the same issues. If anything we should have gotten a discount to offset having to put up with the construction.

We had and awesome vacation thank you so much for letting us rent your place. The house was so comfortable it felt like home, Charles was great to work with. We appreciated the book of information. The house was full of beautiful art. The beach was easy to get to. We loved the outdoor shower to clean off all the sand after a fun day at the beach before going into the house. We also liked the ice machine to fill our water bottles before taking off on our daily adventures. The bar has been set high for the rest of the kids graduation vacations.

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we could not have been happier with any other home. This is in fact a home, not just a house. It is beautifully decorated with art work and originality. Everywhere you look there is a fun, one-of-a-kind work of art to enjoy. All of the comforts of home were provided for us. The beach is less than 100 yards away. It is in a quiet cul-de-sac perfect for families or just a relaxing getaway. The area is quaint and perfectly located for easy day trips either north or south to explore the other Outer Banks towns and villages. Charles and Patti have thought of everything you may need. We used their beach box full of supplies and enjoyed the fire pit. We will absolutely be returning to this wonderful home for our next trip to the Outer Banks. Thank you for the best family vacation yet! P.S. I LOVE turtles!

All four us really enjoyed our stay. We made all meals at the house and we didn't need to go out and buy any extra kitchen items because everything was already at the cottage. The fire pit in back was used almost every night to make s'mores. With only a couple houses separating the cottage from the beach, it was extremely easy to enjoy sunrise beach walks and evening strolls. In terms of walking, almost everything you need is within walking distance. We found a great little coffee shop called Uglie Mugs that has the best cinnamon rolls and almond lattes. They open at 630am. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a long Memorial Day weekend.
