The Marala Hotel is situated slightly elevated above the main road, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful vegetation. From the hotel, you can enjoy a lovely view of the nearby sea.
In our opinion, having a car is very important if you want to reach the beach, nearby restaurants, a pharmacy, shopping facilities, etc.
We had two beautiful double rooms for ourselves and our teenagers. Based on comments from other travellers, we deliberately chose rooms on the garden side overlooking the greenery. In hindsight, we were very happy with this choice, as the traffic noise from the main road was quite noticeable. The restaurant and pool area could also be heard at times. For us, the garden-side rooms were therefore definitely the more pleasant option.
We booked the hotel with breakfast and were very satisfied. The breakfast was delicious and generous. We would especially like to highlight the friendly and helpful staff, who always made a great effort to assist us and were very attentive throughout our stay.
We felt very comfortable at the Marala Hotel and would definitely recommend it. If we travel through the area again, we would be happy to stay here again.
Overall, everything has been satisfactory.

The breakfast was excellent as were the staff in the restaurant. We ended up with a room in kind of an annexe away from
the nice main building. I felt that the room was extremely basic and not very attractive. If you stay here, be sure to get a room in the main building where there is a beautiful pool and great views.
There were no towels in the room when we arrived so had to ask for them at the main desk. The woman looked at me as if I requested something unusual. I didn't like the room in the "bungalow."
