Great place to escape from the real world for a spell.
The location was the best thing about the cabin. Completely tranquil and relaxing. It was set up on the hills, in amongst the woodland, with superb views over the loch and nearby islands. We had some spectacular sunsets during our stay. Our 2-3 neighbouring cabins weren't even visible and we never heard any noise. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the bedroom and bathroom were, and how comfortable the bed was. Slept like logs every night. Useful having a small separate toilet as well as the main bathroom. I especially enjoyed the seating in the lounge. I snuggled up reading in the squishy armchair most evenings. Perfection. All the basics were provided; crockery, cutlery, pans, cooking utensils, glasses and mugs. Also extra useful things like a basin, a measuring jug and cleaning stuff like a cloth, washing up liquid, and toilet cleaner. The cupboards had a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board along with a brush and dustpan and the outside cupboard housed a useful utility area with washing machine and dryer. Hairdryer in the bedroom cupboard. Literally everything you could need. Several toilet rolls were provided which was great, and a very generous amount of electric credit was applied to the meter. We were billed for what we'd used at the end of the stay (we just took meter readings at start and finish) and it was only £3. Perfectly reasonable. The heating and hot water were on the gas which was included. Really pleased with everything about this stay as we've had some less than impressive experiences with residential caravans in the past. Johanna was lovely when I had to phone her ahead of time. Answered all my questions. Equally lovely when we met her in person at check out. Jamie was also really friendly and helpful when we checked out the camp site. Highest praise I can give the cabin and the Estate is that we'd have no qualms about booking again.
The air felt pretty damp on arrival. The cabin needed a good airing out. The bedding in particular, (although obviously clean and fresh), could have done with the heating being blasted for a bit longer. Easily sorted and it was fine from the second day onwards. I thought the whole place could do with a really good deep clean (dust, cobwebs, a bit of damp/black mould in places). Nothing serious enough to concern me, and nothing really dirty. On a surface level all the important stuff was clean. Just what you'd expect after lots of different people have used a place, and something I noted because I'm a bit obsessive about cleaning and hygiene for health reasons. Could also have done with a decent map beforehand to find the cabin. The instructions over the phone made sense after the fact, but the initial attempts to find the cabin took a while! Strongly advise coming in to Lunga from the Oban direction. We were coming up from Lochgilphead and so took the road over from Ardfern. It's a track rather than a tarmac road, and was certainly not fun or fast without a LandRover or similar. Lesson learned. We subsequently drove out and in past Craobh Haven. All minor things and didn't really detract from our enjoyment.

Great value break in beautiful natural surroundings.
Huge windows made it feel like you are living in the trees. Red squirrels, birds and wild flowers are all around. Zero road noise.
Spacious but cosy.
