We travelled from Eastbourne for a Christmas break with family nearby and had the most wonderful stay. The cottage was perfect – spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, cosy and with everything we needed, plus some lovely festive touches that made it feel extra special.
I stayed here with my mum and my two daughters (22 and 13), and it was particularly meaningful as my mum grew up in a nearby village where our family still live. I also grew up in the area before moving south as a child, so being able to take my girls on the same walks I remember from my own childhood was incredibly special.
The owner was so helpful, thoughtful and friendly, and we really couldn’t have asked for a better place to make Christmas memories. Thank you for such a lovely stay – we truly had the best time.
There were no downsides at all.

Extremely clean, great facilities, very comfortable. Nicely laid out. We had a very pleasant stay and are likely to book again.
Could have done with stumble drier however after a wet day at work, Annie put my wet clothes through her tumble drier so all was good.
The stairs to the upstairs bedroom go through one of the first floor bedrooms so could be a privacy issue depending on who you're staying with
