I loved the view of the loch and mountain with sheet running around. I enjoyed hearing the rain on the roof while sleeping. I liked the proximity sightseeing. It was cute and felt a bit like glamping.
There was loud construction going on that we were not warned about. I didn’t find futon bed very comfortable and wouod have preferred to have a regular bed and didn’t care about a couch like we would have had in a hotel. I would also suggest changing the table to one that folds away into the wall since it was hard for the person on that side of the bed to get around the table. Beware the skylight lets in a lot of light including from the outdoor motion detect lights that kept going off for unknown reason.

We loved the lodge itself, clean, tidy, roomy, with all comforts. The view is on the lake Leven, so beautiful.
Folding and unfolding the sofa. There is no actual bed. The bed is the sofa. That was a bit of a surprise provided the cost per night.
