You will instantly fall in love with this bright, open home that is chic, minimalist, vintage and modern all at once. It is beautifully set up with the best of everything including Design Within Reach and Blue Dot furniture throughout. Sleeps 6 Master Bedroom - 1 king bed Guest Bedroom #1 - 1 queen bed Guest Bedroom #2 - 2 queen beds Please read house rules before booking. Built in 1964 and carefully restored, it is amongst the finest of Sandpiper homes by famed mid-century modern architect, William Krisel, and carries a “Palm Desert Historical” designation. Breathtaking views of local mountains and includes your own private large open-air atrium with a modern fire pit, outdoor sofas and a dining area. We know you will love this wonderful, modern get-away. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want including a Sub-Zero fridge, a wine fridge, an eating bar and every amenity you could ask for. We want your visit to be enjoyable. It is important that you are aware of some of the rules and regulations that are strictly enforced. Please read the following carefully before booking. Thank you! Important items to remember: Any violation of the house rules and your signed contract can result in a fine or eviction. • NO OUTDOOR MUSIC/NOISE. The City of Palm Desert has very strict regulations about noise/music. No outdoor music is allowed and a fine of $1,500 will be charged directly to the guests. • NO PETS ALLOWED. • NO SMOKING. All our properties have a no smoking policy. Smoking will result in a $1,500 fine. • NO PARTIES: We do not allow parties/events at this property, please respect occupancy limits and noise ordinance. • HOMES HAVE STRICT OCCUPANCY LIMITS. Over occupying the home will result in fines and/or eviction. • CHECK-IN: The City of Palm Desert requires a copy of an ID prior to check-in. • SECURITY DEPOSIT: We require a $1,500 refundable deposit to cover for any damages or fines. You will receive a payment request through the Airbnb Resolutions before check-in. • MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT. The City of Palm Desert requires the signer to be 25 years of age. • CHARGES FOR VIOLATIONS of house rules are strictly enforced. You can expect to be fined for smoking, damages to property, excess trash, extra cleaning, over occupying, outdoor music, large parties, moving furniture, pets without consent, or violations of any kind to our house rule or signed agreement. Fines and violations can range from $150 to $10,000 based on the severity of the violation of house rules and damages incurred.

This home was spectacular. The master suite was luxurious. Each of the bedrooms had patio access and beautiful floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor living space was well designed. Great location near shopping restaurants and hiking.

As soon by as we walked through the orange door we felt like we had been transported to another era…..simplicity and uncluttered comfort combine to create a feeling of total relaxation in every light filled room. The patio was the perfect spot to have fresh grapefruit from the tree nearby every morning and the private courtyard with the gas fireplace is where we enjoyed wine and conversation at night. The location is awesome…we walked to shopping and great restaurants just blocks away.

This is a real home, a serene oasis of luxurious calm while close to everything wonderful that Palm Desert has to offer. The kitchen is very well-equipped and we loved eating our meals in the spacious outdoor atrium. The pool is steps away and great for swimming. We hope to come back and stay longer next time!
