Location was perfect. Super clean place and being inside the Ioaninna castle gave the stay a great vibe. Our room had a garden and it was so nice just chilling there!🫠

The location is amazing, right inside the castle and next to a real gem of a café-bar. Despite being so central, it was very quiet at night.
The room was spotless and cleaned thoroughly; absolutely no complaints there. We also loved the small private patio just outside the room, which was a lovely extra touch.
The private parking is around an 8-minute walk away, but it’s an easy and straightforward walk — no busy avenues to cross and no hassle at all.
One of the main reasons we chose the property was, of course, the excellent ratings and the complimentary private parking, especially since parking around the castle area can be difficult. Unfortunately, when we arrived, an unauthorised car was occupying one of the seven parking spaces. The owners had no idea who the car belonged to, but to their credit, they immediately offered to cover the cost of alternative parking nearby. We really appreciated that gesture.
The only other actual complaint would be about some of the complimentary products offered during the stay. Two bottles of water are absolutely fine, and honestly, offering nothing beyond that would also be perfectly acceptable. But if you are going to provide small extras, I think there is room for improvement. For example, offering Bulgarian honey feels a little odd when there are so many excellent local producers in the area. Likewise, for a two-night stay, having only two Nespresso capsules - both decaf - felt a bit limited. One thing worth mentioning is that no room cleaning or housekeeping was provided during our two-night stay. These are very small details, but fixing them would genuinely take the experience to another level and probably earn the full 10/10 from us next time.
