Wow! I’ve stayed in a geodesic dome in Tulum before but this was something else - quite trippy!
The staff cover the bubble during the stay to reduce the heating effect of the sun and the air conditioning gets the temperature nice and cool by nighttime.
I’d recommend coming in the cooler, winter season when the skies are clear and the moon is at its smallest for the best stargazing experience.
The room feels like a space ship - you enter through a pressure chamber - and has some funny acoustic and visual quirks that make you feel like you might be tripping!
I loved lying in my air conditioned room staring up at the constellations above. Didn’t even need the telescope.
All the staff are lovely - Armando, Orlando, Jorge .. and a name I have forgotten (sorry) and the Marino Beach Club has great food and drinks. Make sure you relax in one of their painted boat beds on the beach- we watched the sunrise from there.

A wonderful place to unwind, surrounded by nature in the national park. The location is peaceful and secluded, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The bubble room is a unique experience, with amazing views of the sky, birds during the day, and bats hunting at night. It is covered during the day to keep it cool and comfortable.
The restaurant offers a decent selection of food, and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to reach via WhatsApp whenever needed.

Stunning location and design of bubble house. The beach restaurant was deluxe. Although beware in low season, the beach is full of seaweed.
Unfortunately there is really important information about the bubble that they don’t tell you at check in nor instruct you in the rooms. The bubble is super hot during the day so it’s only comfortable in the evening until 9am. When we arrived they have the cover on the bubble and the aircon on 16°.
We were out all day and didn’t come back until 8pm, by this time they had taken the cover off the bubble but because of the heat outside and the cold temperature inside the whole plastic bubble was covered in condensation. We couldn’t see the sky!
My boyfriend had to use a towel to rub off the condensation of half the bubble. We couldn’t reach the top of the bubble and we couldn’t see the stars. We contacted the owner via WhatsApp who said that we needed to put the air conditioner on ‘dry mode level 5-6’. This was unclear on how to do until he finally sent us pictures. He said the condensation should clear up in about 30 minutes but we stayed up for 3 hours and nothing changed.
Super, super, super disappointing.
They even had a telescope in the room but if we can’t see out the roof, what is the point?
On check out, we politely mentioned our troubles from the night before and the receptionist merely shrugged.
