Fantastic views. The cafe and breakfast were great. Close enough to the city, but far enough away to be peaceful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Went above and beyond to be helpful.

Location is great. Peaceful and quiet.
The whole pace is immaculately clean.
The stone buildings are elegant and at night well lit.
1. The room was NOT as described on the site.
Described as:
"With Balcony, Garden View, Pool view, Mountain view, City View".
There was no balcony. Image below shows a staircase to the door at the top of which is a table and one chair. there were two of us.
The view of the mountain was the stone wall of the reception office.
No view of a garden either.
No view of any pool,
No view of a city.
When I made representation about this to the receptionist - she said:
a) there are no other rooms, then later b) That superior rooms don't have such views (as described above).
2. Additionally parts of the room as unfinished with holes in the ceiling or wall - this caused my wife concern about insects entering at night.
3. Lighting in the room is inadequate. Too dark even with all of the small wattage bulbs on. In the bathroom, my wife told me that for make-up application - lighting was totally useless.
4. Only one window out of three (those with no views) has a sita - meaning we couldn't not sleep with windows open and instead have to use A/C.
3. RE: the poolside: Many of the sunbeds were stained and filthy and one badly torn
4. At breakfast, Every morning there was a need to go find someone to inform them there was no bread left, or no butter, or no cheese or no something. Not a serious issue but it didn't give the impression someone was paying attention and it was irritating so have to ask and then stand waiting plate in hand for it to be remedied.
Final word:
If a place to sit together - a real balcony with a chair for both people to use whilst enjoying the views - is important to you, I strongly recommend you call and confirm which room they are giving you before you confirm your booking.
Despite the above, and to balance our comments, once we got over the disappointment, we booked another night to extend our available time for visiting local villages.
