Las instalaciones estaban bien equipadas. Wilson fue amable y nos proporcionó la información necesaria para nuestros planes, la compañía de Molly fue especial. En general podíamos estar relajadas en cualquier espacio del hostal y había diversas actividades para interactuar.

Clean room just off the main strip so it’s more private and quiet. AC was cold so that was great! The room had a nice seating area outside to chill. Tours can be arranged with the hostel too! Very convenient for my short stay and the manager was so helpful and gave me a later check out since I was leaving in the late afternoon to catch a flight , much appreciated!

Good location and friendly staff.
Alpha Arenal Hostel has a good location in La Fortuna, and the staff were friendly during my stay. The hostel was generally clean, and it can be a decent budget option for travelers looking to save money.
However, there were a couple of significant drawbacks. There was only one shared toilet available for a large number of guests, which often meant waiting and made the facilities feel overcrowded. Also, there is no air conditioning in the dormitory bunk-bed rooms. The rooms can get quite warm, especially at night, which made sleeping less comfortable. For these reasons I will not stay there again.
Overall, it’s an acceptable budget hostel, but the limited bathroom facilities and lack of air conditioning are important things to consider before booking.
