Very convenient- very responsive host when we complained about the upstairs neighbors.
First night there was a lot of thumping from upstairs neighbor but our host was able to take care of the next day. I guess that's expected for apartments when you're not at top floor.

The apartment and facilities are lovely. The convenience to the Duke campus is perfect.
I am concerned about what I saw grounds crew spraying around the property. I don’t know what it was but my 2 small dogs became seriously ill and had to be hospitalized. I do not know if it was related or not. There is no way to know, but both of them had “toxicity” illnesses. I wonder about the outdoor safety. Otherwise, the grounds are lovely and really well maintained.
Also, the white carpets and white couch are impractical for rental/visitors and the living room “woven” rug was very tough on the feet and was falling apart.

Comfortable, spacious, well appointed apartment. Convenient location near Duke Hospital and plenty of nearby restaurants.
Check-in instructions had 2 different apartment numbers, and code didn’t work on either one. Called the phone number and issue was quickly resolved. There were no instructions other than for the Wi-Fi. Could not figure out how to get regular TV channels. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. No instructions how to access workout facility.

Clean. Excellent location. Spacious
Extremely loud, meaning I the sound of the above neighbor walking across the floor was unbelievably loud and woke me up from sleeping. Surrounding neighbors had dogs which barked constantly. This apartment is made of paper thin walls, floors and ceiling. I was there to recover after having a major surgery at Duke Hospital and it was obvious after the first night that I chose the wrong property as I got very little quality sleep.
Also, the 2 arm chairs in the living room are not comfortable at all. Should have a comfy sofa AND 2 plush & comfy side
chairs.
The blinds in both bedrooms do not shut all the way(seamlessly) thereby allowing the very bright street lamp right below each window to shine in
$$$$
