Pricey for an older motel, but comfortable. Everything worked.

Great stop

Cute, quaint place. Staff very friendly. Loved sitting in the courtyard after dinner and visiting with other guests.

Bed was a little soft.

Perfect for a one-night stay. The room was a little too cramped to settle in for a longer stay.

The owners are lovely people and gave us good advice for dining in Salida. They are new owners and have created a nice courtyard for grilling and lounging, garden, and a little stream runs through it. They have plans for upgrades and special features like sauna and soaking pool.

Not very clean bathroom, or floors. Very worn looking blanket on top of bedding, of uncertain cleanliness.

Excellent Lodge that I would use again.

The Lodge was outside of town but had useful stores within walking distance. There was a food truck that offered breakfast burritos and coffee. There was a sandwich shop that provided lunch and a steak restaurant across the street that provided a good dinner. There was also plenty of parking and room for a trailer if you have one. The owner was able to provide a discount ticket to one of the local hot springs (Cottonwood).

We had to wait a while for the owners to get back from a shopping run before we could check in.

Cost effective and pleasant stay for a overnight

Easy 1 night stay for my bday weekend.. seems to be offseason but good stay enjoyed our time..

Shower head is kinda short if over 5'5"

A gem of a classic motel!!

Everything about this gem of a motel is fantastic. New and very comfortable beds, linens, good heat, fridge, coffee maker, amazing hosts, ample parking, excellent location and views!! Not to be missed.

Exceptional

We were late coming in. I called to let them know we were on our way. Dawn, picked up the phone and guided us in. Waking up to the beautiful mountains in the morning. Easy to check in and check out. Jimmy and Dawn greeted us in the morning. Very warm and cozy folks!

The queen bed rooms are small in size, but get the job done. The room was clean, warm and cozy!

The location is fantastic! So close to all the amenities you might need as well as skiing at Monarch and other outside adventures! The owner Dawn was a delight! She even texted me when I left my pillow and I was able to retrieve it before heading home! I will definitely be back!
