The house was warm, homely and well equipped. The house was spacious and the decor was beautiful. There was ageing in areas but that added to the character of the property.

We were very impressed by the facilities and the spaciousness of The Polchar. The children loved the football pitch and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of dishes , pans etc , more than sufficient for the size of our party. The gardens were particularly attractive, beautifully designed and glowing with autumn colour.
Minor details but requiring maintenance- upstairs bedroom- very slow drainage in shower and carbon monoxide detector beeping as batteries low. Flickering lights in second upstairs bedroom. Loose front on cutlery drawer. A hairdryer would have been useful.

Amazing house and grounds. Great location to explore Aviemore and the highlands. We have had a fabulous time the house was perfect with everything you could need and the gardens were such a great bonus for the kids and dogs to explore.
No recommendations perfect for our family stay
