Pat’s Place offers a private home located on beautiful Lake Gaston's Smith Creek. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the deck overlooking the water, roasting marshmallows or hike down to the lakeside point for an evening on the paddle boat or kayaks. We have a pool located at the main residence that may be accessed for additional charge. There is no dock located on this property, however you can fish from the bank. There is a public boat ramp within 2 miles of our location, Hawtree Creek Boat Ramp (https://youtu.be/rS4tYPWO_UY). The property offers plenty of room for your to bring your boat and park it onsite.

We stayed for a long weekend at Pat's place. It was plenty of room for our family! The owner was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Easy drive to rent a boat or fish. Grill and back deck were perfect also!

The property manager was very responsive, friendly and concerned about everything, actually awesome. The pool was wonderful. The location was exactly what we required. The kitchen was very well equipped. The linens, bathrooms and kitchen were clean however my lower rating for cleanliness is because there were too many personal items in the home that collect dust. The closets, bureaus and kitchen island needed to be empty for me to put my belongings so I could unpack. We would rent this house again if it was decluttered.

The house was comfortable and well-equipped. We spent most of our time off the property enjoying the lake, but it was a good place to come back to at night.

House was very private away from everything. Just what we were looking for. It did rain the entire time, but we had plenty to do. The house has everything for your daily needs. The back porch and screened in porch overlooked the lake and spacious back yard. More than enough room for our family and plenty of room for eight people. Wish the weather was better to see if there was fish in the lake. The hosts made sure we were comfortable and communicated well. We would come back for another stay.
