We love this cabin away from it all - just lovely and so comfortable. We are repeat customers. Easy to get in and very respectful hosts. The firepit is the best with a huge supply of wood. The kitchen could do with just a bit of an upgrade - silverware, more cups, dish strainer, more ice cube holders.

Nice modern cabin at the top of a hill. Your drive up the road to the cabin will be adventurous to say the least. Wife at first would not continue and I had to jump in the drivers seat. It's really not that bad. Hope it doesn't rain. No central AC (which is in listing) Only one window A/C in the bedroom upstairs. Surprisingly, it does cool the house, but it is very loud. If you are a light sleeper, count on turning it off when you go to bed. Literature inside cabin said city or municipal water and safe to drink, but it is not piped direct from the city to the cabin. It appears the owner fills up a large plastic vat of city water out of his home tap and transports it up there. Then uses an RV pump or such to pump it in the house? We opted not to drink the water as in our opinion it had a strange smell. It may be safe, but we drank bottled water. No shower. Only a bath when we were there. However, if you like to take a bath, the wife said it was very nice and relaxing. Great backyard fire pit with plenty of wood. Overall, a good get-a-way.
