appartement trop vétuste avec odeurs nauséabondes, avons été relogés au Gardena Ressort (même complexe) suite à notre demande. Le nouvel appartement avait été rénové et nettement plus agréable pour y passer une dizaine de jours.
L'emplacement dans le nord de l'île est appréciable pour son calme et à proximité d'une plage (100 m). Les piscines sont grandes et agréables. Il existe un complexe aquatique ludique (payant).
Rénover entièrement certains appartement du Gardena Village qui sont vraiment trop vieux et vétustes de surcroît.
Varier un peu plus les plats au self.

Lovely clean room, great pools and the buffet is excellent. The room was lovely, beautiful design, lovely and cool ceiling fans. And right by a lovely pool in pretty gardens, the resort is beautifully landscaped. It would be perfect for families with tiny children up to age 8, or as a relaxing base to explore from with a car. But with age 10+ or without kids I'd head somewhere more eventful, or certainly self cater and expect to drive to eat in the evening as there's nothing nearby. The buffet is great but all families with kids in the air con and noise, it wouldn't be a relaxing experience for couples!
We did say we were arriving early, but no check in before 3pm. We booked a partial sea view but the ground floor room was behind high bushes with no view and people walking past the bedroom. We saw some kids club people but didn't see any actual activities happening, and the "water park" is clean but just a little splash park for toddlers which you pay extra for on arrival which wasn't made clear. We paid extra for it, grudgingly, and then only used it for 10 minutes before our 7, 10 and 12 year olds wandered off, bored! I'd say it's an excellent hotel for families with toddlers wanting to stay there and do nothing. But it's a 40 minute hike into Fornells along the road, on an unspoilt but featureless peninsular, a bit desolate.

We arrived around 10:00 and asked an early check in multiple times before the arrival. But they didnt even pretent to help. We just had to wait hours in the reception with a 2 years old.
Also there are no air conditions in the hotel meaning you have to keep the windows open and funny enough there are no swatters. But there are a lot of mosquitoes around. I couldn’t even count the bites on my body (i think more than 30)
Also dont go to breakfast around 10:00 as it gets extremely crowded

Really torn about this place. The location on the beach was great, the water park and many pools brilliant and the food, especially the buffet dinner, was really delicious. Lots of activities too if you want them. All the staff we interacted with at mealtimes were lovely. And the style of the apartments is traditional and very appealing from the outside. However...
...the apartment was cold and dark and damp. All our clothes came away from our stay damp and smelly, even those that had started out dry. The apartment had no air con which shouldn't have been a problem at this time of year but because of the dampness of the apartment we ended up having to put the fan heater on for a couple of hours in the evening for the children to be able to get to sleep. There was enough hot water for one person to shower - in a 4 person apartment - so most of us had a cold shower. Which wasn't what we wanted after a day hiking. The bathroom was pretty bleak overall, the water from the shower went everywhere and there was no air in the room so nothing dried. We would have needed about 4 bath mats to manage the water on the floor and it took about an hour for the mirror to demist (the only mirror in the entire apartment). The sofabed the kids had to sleep on collapsed when you sat on the end of it. If they had mosquito nets on the windows we could have got more air into the apartment by having them open but there were so many mosquitoes around we had to batten down the hatches and deal with the sogginess.

Liked the Mediterranean vibe. The reception guy was soo friendly and helpful. He spent enough time to explain us the rules plus he showed us all of the attractions.
In terms of cleaning not really too much to complain about it, as the cleaners came everyday to change the towels and clean the room.
The breakfast was amazing and everyone tried to speak English.
Maybe the window frames needed to be changed or repainted as the black mold (specially in the bathroom) spots were a bit visible, probably from humidity, but didn't bother us too much, as the cleaner came everyday to clean our room.

I have travelled extensively and rarely leave reviews. So take this fact that I am doing so now as a glowing indictment for this property.
I try not to raise expectations. This property exceeded my hopes. I absolutely loved the feel on this place. It felt like a little village and a nice landscape lawn sloped down from my apartment to the pool, just 20 metres away.
It was quite when I was there. Not sure if the feel would have been completely different if the pace was busy.
Just 30 minutes from the airport. The location is isloted in so much as there are only a few buildings near the hotel, but the main town is just 10 minutes drive.
I absolutely loved this place. Would love to come back one day with partner, and pretty sure my parents would enjoy this pace and the vibe.
There was nothing I didn't like. This is not of or luxurious resort along the lines of either Tui Melia, or the numerous hotels of Hurghada say. No, this place fits with the calmer more charming expectations of Menorca. But while I was there I actually visited 2 other hotels (only to see the pace my partner used to work, and recce for her friend who is travelling to Menorca in 2 weeks). Neither of those were a a partch on

The room we've booked was alright and we had sea view as advertised, dive shop next to the hotel and free access to beach, it's okay to stay if you plan to cook yourself or dine out in the nearby restaurants, the hotel is surrounded by luxury villas so you don't have to worry getting there by foot, as long as you're fit to walk uphill for a few minutes.
The bathroom grouts were terribly dirty as if they weren't cleaned in a year, the shower-head was broken and the toilet had a terrible urine odor - they wouldn't resolve the issue before the next day when we were threatening to leave the hotel, when we asked the first day the maintenance guy came quickly to fix the shower but the cleaning lady showed up and said she wouldn't clean the grouts "because its concrete" and ignored our wish to clean the smelly toilet as well. So we had to drive next town to get a toilet freshener, we weren't able to use the toilet otherwise. We got invited to the buffet so we would leave a good review, when we arrived at the "restaurant" the staff had not heard about this offer and they didn't want to let us in at first, as usual for buffets in a place that's not to busy, the food was cold and dry, we used to eat in the nearby restaurants the whole week so this was the worst meal we had during our stay, can not recommend.

Location was good and facilities were available. Pools were nice enough, didn't try the restaurants or bars.

The rooms were not the best, but a good base and fine for cooler months.
The apartments were nice, but very old and worn. Lots of wear and tear which made it feel dirty and run down. No mosquito screens or air conditioning also meant it was very hard to get air in the rooms, without also getting eaten alive.

Nice setting and great location. Well equipped and clean.
Our flat was good for a couple but open sofa for the kids takes all the space.

But being on the ground floor on the path by the pool, no privacy. Was ok for 4 nights though.

No bottle of water in the fridge and the staff was wasting water to clean around the pool when a broom would have done the job.

Lovely setting and location to the beach .
Had a specific issue unfortunately during our stay and it left a really bad impression . Firstly there is NO AIR CONDITIONING in any rooms in the gardens part of the hotel . There is a fan but it will only stay on for 3 hours at time . Very difficult overnight to manage temperature of 4 year old child. Staff really unhelpful when we asked for some help, offered to pay for a new room or air conditioning but they said there were none available. When we showed them available rooms in the hotel website as well as booking.com they stated that if we booked the room they would not let us have it . They said yes it was not occupied but needed to be cleaned Then said there was no available clearer and they didn’t know when there might one available over the next few days. We felt disrespected and intimidated throughout the communication with staff. We offered to pay whatever was required . They had no interest and just fobbed us off with silly excuses . Felt undignified and upset by the situation. Maybe this is just the way holiday hotels work , I suspect it is unfortunately.

The only good thing about this place is that it’s next to the beach! That’s about it
Nothing worked! We had to go to the reception at least 5 times because something was broken in the bedroom! Light would turn off or on when we turned on the ventilator. Wifi didn’t work anywhere. It was a disaster!

Closeness to beach, greenery around hotel.
Room didn’t meet our expectations - fridge didn’t work, no bedding for the kids bed (fold out) and soap dispenser broke. The fan remotes are a nightmare and we still couldn’t work out the multiple switches and remotes after a few days. Definitely need air con which isn’t available. Garden terrace isn’t ideal for small children in close proximity to pools. If you’re not inclusive shop elsewhere before arrival as the supermarket attached to hotel is incredibly expensive as well as the buffet and restaurant. Our beach umbrella was stolen from the terrace and also guests reserve the loungers permanently so you have to snap these up quickly. Staff were ok sorting the initial issues with the room but generally weren’t that friendly and treated you like another number. However the cleaners always gave a smile! In comparison to our hotel and location in Arenal we were quite disappointed but it did eventually grow on us.

The setting, the gardens were beautiful, as was the beach. The buffet breakfast was also great.
The rooms are dated, in need of a renovation. The bathroom was terrible. There was no airconditioning in the apartment which made sleeping impossible.

Location
Very small flat, no air con. When we asked for portable aircon we were told that we couldn’t get them because it was no part of the package. We booked an apartment for 4 but could only get 2 breakfast free. No freezer, fridge was not cold enough. The fans on the ceiling in the master bedroom was a REAL HAZARD as there were very very Low above the bed. Very crowded pool, no lounge chair available EVER.
