The house was brilliant for the number of people and the hosts were very attentive via whatsapp. The main room was great and had enough seating for all of us and the dining room also was lovely for dinners. The hot tub was a good size and the tennis court was great. The layout of the kitchen could have been better but it was really well-equipped. The issues we did have during the stay were fixed very promptly but probably should have been checked before our arrival so that we didn't have them in the first place.
The house had not been cleaned to the best standard. The property is very tired. The dishwasher bottom tray was broken and it wasn't cleaning the crockery that well. I think it needs replacing. The lighting is poor in the bedrooms & they didn't all have lamps by the beds. One of the posts on the 4 poster was broken & should have been fixed as it would have been an easy fix. Some rooms didn't have plug points by mirrors. We had issues with the hot water and a couple had to have cold showers during our stay and the heated towel rails in the bathrooms were not working to start with. The pool table was poor, rips in the table top and this would be very easy and cheap to fix.

The property was incredibly family‑friendly and suited us perfectly. Our group of 16, aged between 13 and 80 (8 children, 8 adults, and 3 dogs), all found plenty of space and activities to enjoy — whether relaxing, playing, eating, or having a drink together. Being able to bring the dogs was fantastic and meant we could fully relax and make the most of the beautiful setting. Many thanks.

The house was spacious and warm. It was well furnished and fitted out. The hot tub was a great asset.

Nice large property, helpful with logs
There were a few issues with cleanliness, tv's and radiators not working properly and the property does look a little tired in places, curtains not fitting properly, things not fitted to walls etc
