Lovely cottage, perfect for our stay. In the centre of Bedale, but so quiet.
Everything was just around the corner. Beds were VERY comfortable, Everything was really clean. Good size cottage for 4 adults and a medium size dog
We couldn't access the WiFi, It wasn't a major problem, but slightly inconvenient.

Firkin cottage
The cottage was in excellent condition and very clean. It was near to all town facilties.
The door key, or lock, was worn and needed a lot of jiggling to lock or unlock. The parking outside was a problem with the people opposite as it blocked access to other properties if we were both parked. I moved up to the High St. If a future occupant refused to move, it could become a major issue. An anti slip mat and handrail in the bath would be appreciated. A couple of extra saucers to go with the cups would be nice

Delightful stay and we can't recommend this place highly enough for a Bedale get-away
This is a self-catering apartment so breakfast not served. However, the kitchen had absolutely every appliance we could possibly need and it was spotless.
Absolutely nothing. It was perfect in every way for our needs.

A pleasant and relaxing place to stay.
Cosy and comfortable. Good sized kitchen. Comfortable bed. Owner came over very quickly when we had an issue with the water.
No welcome pack and no instructions for CH.
