The views were great, lovely staff to welcome you, love the art on the bottom floor that honours the First Nations people, beautiful room, lighting was perfect.
Just comments for improvement, not criticism 😁 Elevator lighting is too low. I stayed at room 7510 AC went warm then cold, difficult to open curtains with the button. I advised reception staff on Saturday i would like to purchase a robe on Sunday morning when I check out, they made a note of it, on Sunday morning I came to check out and asked about the robe, the reception staff had to take time to find one for me, I had a flight to catch so maybe better communication across staff would be good so guests don’t have to wait around :) I also requested a Panadol by calling, and 30 mins later i needed to follow up and eventually it arrived. Maybe you could ask guests what time they prefer for cleaning staff to clean the room, that’s what Park Hyatt Auckland does. Not enough slippers for all 4 guests, not enough robes too. I think the small details is what sets apart the good and amazing hotels for us guests. I am loyal to Park Hyatt but i think the Ritz Melbourne has the better view and building so with some improvement in service, this could be a perfect stay. I’ll try again next year. Thank you

The staff and extra care and details were amazing. They knew our names everywhere we went. And gave us extra treats for our wedding anniversary. The champagne and sweet treats in our room, as well as early checkin started the whole day off perfectly.
The dinner was overpriced for what it was.

Rooms were nicer
Irratic turndown service. Was the told 3 days in that its request only after 2 complaints. This information was not shared at check-in and not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast chaotic…waiting 20 mins for hot drinks. Drinks forgotten.
