The apt in Lancaster’s downtown was adorable! Great location has all the ementies. Not to mention the off street parking a big plus.

While the location of the condo was very walkable to downtown, the place was far from peaceful. The street that it is on is the main truck route through Lancaster and the bedroom was in the front of the house, about 15 feet from the non stop truck traffic. We were unable to sleep through the noise. The storm windows were even up, making it even less insulated. When we put down the storms, it helped a little. The place comes with white noise to try to help mask the trucks, but it doesn’t work. There is light coming through the windows all night long as well. It’s too bad, because it was a very nice space. Bring ear plugs and face masks if you stay here!

I did not stay at this property. The apartment is in a less desirable area of Lancaster. (To put it nicely) Upon arrival to the apartment you have to park in a shady back alley. The front entrance to the building is not locked and stays open all night. The front door to the apartment was half glass with a very small lock. I’m normally not afraid when staying somewhere, but my conscious could not let me spend one night here. The cars go speeding by right in front of the bedroom windows and the floors creak so bad with every step. I usually do my due diligence researching locations, However the owner does not send you the location until the day of your stay. I called the owner and let her know that I felt unsafe and would not be staying at her apartment and she let me know that she lived there prior and never had any issues. She also did not offer any kind of reimbursement for not staying a single night. Which was fine because I committed to the rental. In the end I rented a hotel room which costed me more money. Lesson learned.

Here for just two nights and wish it had been more. Charming space. Perfect for walking to shops and restaurants (usually less than a mile). Great communication with host. If you're in downtown Lancaster, this is the place to stay!

My wife and I came up to Lancaster to see a concert at Freedom Hall and to check out some of the local flavor. The rental was great, clean, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed being walking distance to so many great restaurants, coffee shops, the Central Market, Lancaster Brewing and more. Only downside for us was the traffic noise, but that's city life. We made use of the provided white noise machine. Would definitely rent again on our next trip back to Lancaster.

Beautifully renovated historic home in down town Lancaster PA. First floor one bedroom private rental. The apartment had everything you could need. Including a washer and dryer. Even a white noise machine. Coffee pods and tea. Adorable full sized kitchen and sitting area. I only wish we could stay longer. The key code was really neat. You have to touch it to “wake” it up and then touch the digital numbers to unlock. Very easy once you understand how it works. Lots of recommendations and helpful instructions in the paperwork.
