Nestled in Edgewater Gulf Beach, this attractive condo for $243 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Welcome to Edgewater Tower 1 Unit 409, a very nicely furnished two-bedroom, two-bath fourth floor condo located at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort and overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Edgewater is a full-service gated resort in beautiful Panama City Beach. Edgewater is centrally located, just a short walk from multiple local dining and shopping options and a short ride from Pier Park and St. Andrews State Park. A par-3 executive golf course, basketball hoops, pickleball, shuffleboard, and tennis facilities are all available at Edgewater. Book a tennis lesson with our pro while you're here to improve your game! This massive resort has 11 pools, a children's splash area, various hot tubs, a fitness center, a training studio, and a business center. Edgewater's own beach services company provides beach chair rentals, paddleboard rentals, and beach bonfires during the summer. Children can engage in Adventure Zone events during the summer. There are numerous resort-level dining alternatives! Oceans Bar & Grill, Paradise Pizza, and Blenders Poolside Bar are all located off the main lagoon pool deck, where you can dine gulf front, get a slice, and cool off with your favorite drink. Edgie's Corner Market has everything from hand-dipped ice cream to beach floats. Edgewater has plenty of parking and a free tram service that runs throughout the resort. Air conditioning, all linens and towels provided, a washer and dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi are among the many in-property amenities. Enter Edgewater Tower 1 Unit 409’s open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas. Floor-to-ceiling windows, mirrored walls and sliding glass doors enhance the 180-degree views of the resort pools and Gulf of Mexico. There is a combination of tile flooring and carpeting throughout. The kitchen has plenty of counterspace and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals if so desired. Just bring the food! Appliances are all stainless-steel and include a refrigerator/freezer, glass-top range and oven, built-in above-range microwave oven and a dishwasher. There is a peninsular bar with four bar stools on the dining area side. The adjacent dining area has a buffet and a table seating six. This flows into the living area with a mirrored wall, sleeper sofa, matching loveseat, side chair, accent tables and lamps. Opposite the seating area is a credenza with a wall-mounted large flat-screen TV. Sliding glass doors lead out to the furnished balcony with its views of the resort lagoon pool and Gulf of Mexico. The large primary bedroom with en suite bathroom is extensively furnished, including a king-size bed and flat-screen TV and has floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors providing access to the balcony overlooking the gulf and lagoon pool. The updated bathroom has a very nicely tiled walk-in shower with a glass wall and door. The guest bedroom has two full-size beds and a flat-screen TV. A shared hallway bathroom has a spacious vanity and combination tub/shower. A convenient in-condo laundry area is also available. Pros: VIEW, property amenities amazing, pools & beach right outside condo. We were in Tower 1. There are 2 properties, if you want ocean view be sure you choose that. The other one you have to walk over a bridge to get to the beach.
Cons: no communication from property manager until day of, this included a list of what to bring. We were already well on the road before this was received. No beach towels, 4 towels for 4 people (no a huge deal since washer & dryer). No extra blankets, bring your own. I’ve stayed in A LOT of vrbo & this one had the least supplies of any. Which is fine but more than the day of heads up is needed! Also-the pictures you see are NOT the condo you get. I knew i wanted to stay @ Edgewater. I researched every condo listed & chose a cute themed one. The unit we were in had thin white bedding, 2 pillows, older furniture, several electrical outlets didn’t work. Again-not a deal breaker but very different from what pictures showed! No instructions for check in received at all. I went to the lobby & asked for a parking pass. They said I needed bracelets which were $5/person plus tax & not included.
Would i stay here again-yes because the pool & beach right out the door were amazing! And the view for this condo couldn’t be beat. I didn’t contact the property manager about any of this because not worth wasting my time. Just ask questions before & know they’ll give you whatever is available-not what is pictured!
