The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, and there is a small playground with swings, which our children enjoyed.
The booking was made for “Kaķitis Hotel”, but we were accommodated in a different building – above the Murr Café, on the second floor. This was not made clear in advance, and as we were traveling with small children, it was a real shock upon arrival. The rooms lacked cleanliness, and we were disappointed with the condition overall.
There was also a lack of communication regarding breakfast – there was no information about the menu or what would be served. Both adults and children were given the same food (sausages, fried eggs, bacon), which many children don’t eat for breakfast. As a result, food was wasted unnecessarily. The whole experience felt disorganized and not family-friendly.
