It was our first hotel in Japan, and it blew us away! We loved how modern, clean, and cozy the hotel felt. We also enjoyed the amenities we were allowed to choose from the lobby and the services they offered. Front desk staff were very friendly as well.
It's a bit further from where everything is, which could be a positive (quiet, calm) or negative thing (lots of walking). The room is small but I think they made great use of how the arranged the room with the space they got.

The room at Vessel Inn Asakusa was well thought out, brilliantly maximizing the small footprint and good value for money. The design felt incredibly efficient and modern, utilizing every inch of space effectively.
the id have to mark it down for cleanliness, there was a persistent mould odor in the room. Additionally, the pillows were quite firm and lacked the comfort needed for a good night's sleep, which was a minor but noticeable drawback.
