The outside may be deceiving; looks like your typical motel. Our room was one that was newly renovated and was better than some hotels that we’ve stayed in before for half the price.

While the outside of the Inn looks very dated, the owner is systematically renovating the rooms, so when I got into the room, I was pleasantly surprised that the room was freshly painted, clean and the bathroom was pretty nice.
There were some problems. As I was checking out, I ran into the owner of the hotel and I told him that I appreciated what he was doing to renovate but that I had some issues. I was impressed that the owner was even there to check on the place and perhaps check on the renovations.
1. I never got hot water for my shower in the morning.
2. The night time lights outside are WAY too bright. Stadium bright!
He was very responsive to my complaints. We will see if the lights get turned down so they don't blare right into the rooms at night. The hot water is a basic and he really must address that.
