Heerlijk rustig, grote tuin voor de kids en genieten in het zwembad. Ontbijt was ook top. Ruime kamers en alles wat je nodig hebt. Heel vriendelijke mensen ook.
Iets teveel last van muggen omdat er of geen horren waren bij de ramen en die er wel waren pasten niet goed dus muggen etc hadden alsnog vrij spel.

L accueil des hôtes a été parfait (conseils, écoute....)
Le lieu nous a permis de nous retrouver à mi-chemin avec des amis. La piscine a étéun régal et la longère à côté de la piscine protégée du soleil nous a permis de prendre l apéritif tranquillement. Les poules, le coq, les hirondelles.... l étang de bellebouche avec des observatoires pour regarder les oiseaux...
Un avant-goût de vacances.

Voila le Logat appears to be a rustic heaven with swallows everywhere and turtle doves purring from the trees. We appreciated the mosquito screens over the windows. Our property was good value because we had three rooms for just the two of us so could choose the coolest (it was very hot while we were there). The inflated swimming pool was great to jump into after a long day travelling (although after a very hot couple of days it was commandeered by honey bees desperate for water). We swam at the lovely Belle Bouche lake (the water only resembles beef consomme because of iron pigments) with pleasant shady beaches under the trees and a good cafe.
Our three bedroom house was next to the stables, which gave off a pungent aroma of horses in the hot weather - rather off putting for eating on the terrace. The property was not absolutely clean and had brown cockroaches in the bathroom. We self-catered and much of the crockery was in cupboards too high for me to reach. We didn't hear about the bar and information leaflets until we were leaving. The immediate countryside, while rich in wildlife, is not as interesting as the core Etang area of La Brenne (but probably had fewer mosquitos!).
