Nestled in Discovery Bay, this charming house for $599 per night is a great option for your next break. Relax beneath 80 beautiful palm trees in your own private water front oasis. There’s nothing like it! It's a perfect place to sit back and watch the water life. In the evening stroll down the beautiful floral walkway through pink oleanders. Relax on the dock with your glass of wine or umbrella drinks and enjoy the wonderful sunsets and wildlife. There’s white and blue heron, ducks, geese, otters, and even a white pelican or seal from time to time. Bring your camera and binoculars! The 40’ private dock has plenty of room to tie up your boats and watercraft. The dock is just 100 feet from ‘fast water’ where delta boat speeds are unlimited! The dock is also right across from Lido Beach. It’s a small tidal island where people hang out. The beach is easy to swim to or you can use the two included kayaks. Bring along your stand up paddle boards if you have them - highly recommended. If you’re into fishing this will be paradise. Cast off with your favorite rig right from the dock. Fishermen travel from all over just to fish right here! It's a favorite spot for the locals and a great place to catch largemouth bass all year. The kayak has a pole holder if you want to go explore. An inexpensive fishing license is recommended. The property includes a huge waterfront grass lawn - very rare in Discovery Bay. Lawn toys include croquet, horse shoes, bocce ball, Frisbee, and more! Bring your baseball mitts and other favorite yard toys. There’s a full size pool and huge wrap around deck with plenty of lounge areas. Don’t forget your pool floats! The home is cottage style and overlooks the pool, lawn, dock, Lido Island, and the delta waterways. You’ll enjoy watching all the outdoor activities from the large cool living area inside the home. Panoramic water views are shared across the open kitchen with wrap around counter seating, expandable dining table (seats 8), and comfy gliding lounge chairs. If you need to sneak in some computer time there’s a desk and Dell monitor right there too. The home is a 3 bedroom, two bath single story ranch - no stairs. It includes 900Mb wifi internet which will handle all the devices your group may need. A new Samsung Smart TV and HDMI connector gives you many options to login to all your online TV and computer apps. Separate Bluetooth television speakers are available for wireless connections to your smart devices. In 2022 a new dishwasher, garbage disposal, water heater, air conditioner, washer and dryer and other updates were installed with extended warranty. If you’re looking for a single story home with tons of outside space and privacy, this is it! It's in the best location in Discovery Bay! Here are a few helpful tips if you are new to the area: • If you have a boat, Jetski, etc. look for homes the shortest distance to fast water • Back yards on the outside perimeter of Discovery Bay have open nature views • Back yards on the interior bays look across at other homes (which are looking across at you) • Back yards in the middle of Discovery Bay are waterfront on a small lake - no access to fast water • Point lots are best as they provide much more privacy and wider water frontage • East and north facing homes (back yards) are best to avoid baking in the long afternoon sun • Street location is not too important - everything in Discovery Bay is easily accessible by bicycle • Be sure there is enough driveway parking to fit all your cars (keeps the neighbors happy) Welcome to your own private paradise!

Eric and Alina (property manager) were great hosts. I am not a review person, however felt the need on this one. Great 3BR,2BA home. Super close to fast water, I could literally throw a baseball from the dock and hit fast water. We have stayed in many homes, and I have to say this one has the most character. If I have one complaint, and it’s really not that big of a deal, I wish there would have been at least one or two bunk beds in one or two of the rooms, so guests that are not coupled up can sleep more comfortably. They do have fold up twin pads to put on floor though. Can’t wait for next year to rent it again

This house was amazing from the start to finish. Great location for boating and everything about it was perfect. The response time from the owner and the property assistant was great. Our family loved this house and we would definitely stay here again. Pictures do not do this property justice. Swimming in the pool with that backyard view was the best. The property has everything you need

The house and grounds are lovely - quiet and breezy in the mornings with a view of egrets and other waterbirds in the reeds, and great for people-watching on the fast water later in the day. There is a lot of space for resting/visiting inside, and the pool and hot tub and comfortable sun chairs outside are great for fun (especially kids - there is a collection of pool float toys that our smaller family members very much appreciated). Beds are super comfortable, and the kitchen has a good selection of cooking utensils / bowls / tupperware for use. I can't say enough good things about this property.

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your amazing property Eric. We felt like we were on a tropical island vacation. It was really clean and the house was stocked with everything you could ever need. The pool and hot tub were so nice. The grass area was great for corn hole and the dock was great for fishing. Great set up!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Property owner/staff were super attentive and friendly. Everything you could ask for in the kitchen. Pool was amazing… we used it the entire time. Plenty of lounge chairs and space to lay out! Location of property couldn’t be better! Definitely recommend staying here and I hope to do so again!

I have rented VRBOs every year for the last 8 years to bring my family together for a reunion. Every local I ran into told me that we were in the nicest property in Discovery Bay. For this review, I asked each member of my family what their thoughts were about this place: Me: Having morning coffee as the sun came up over the water..... and a beer at night while sitting out front on the dock Wife: Overall Cleanliness and family-friendly layout both indoors and outdoors Teen 1: We were right on the main waterway and the island out front was cool meeting people Teen 2: It's where locals come to go fishing - something about this particular area attracts fish - all the different species of critters that live there - Exotic looking birds - river otters and many more. Uncle Frank: The jacuzzi! It was awesome while people-watching - when the tide goes out, an island becomes exposed right out front and many boats stop there while the people have all kinds of activities. Newborn: she can't talk yet but had nothing but smiles! Cousin Will: The openness of it all - everything! Lastly, friends that stopped by liked all the parking spots. Voted by all #1 to return next summer!!

Beautiful home with great views, very clean, owners were very accommodating, helpful with anytime we needed. Home had everything we needed for all ages. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Discovery bay!

My family and I had a great time at this beautiful home. It is in a premium location and the backyard feels like being at a resort. My kids were sad to leave it! Thank you Eric and Alina. We look forward to coming back again.

Me and my family have stayed at many vrbo homes and this house was ok. The backyard is definitely a plus for this property but the house itself needs a lot of work. When we arrived the house was sorta clean, dishes and silverware were pretty dirty. The outside of the house and side was covered in spiderwebs, the dock had geese poop all over it. There was no screen sliding doors so if you leave the sliding door open for even a minute tons of bugs get in. The hotub was supposedly redone, 2 sides of it did not work. Many doors and closets were locked in the house, a few lights didn’t even have lightbulbs in them, also the wifi was barely functioning if 2 people had there phones connected to it, it would crash. For a family this house is definitely not it, if you have a group of people and just trying to have a good time, this would be perfect for you. Overall 4/10
