Relax with family, friends or on your own in this tranquil mountain get away surrounded by nature.
Located 10 minutes from Berea College Campus, 15 minutes from I75 and less than an hour south of Lexington KY. Close to Owsley Fork Lake, the Pinnacles or Indian Fort Hiking Trails and Anglin Falls.
The space
It’s a cabin nestled in 9 acres of woods. There is an entrance gate followed by a gravel drive to the parking spot next to the cabin. There are rock steps without handrails leading to the doorway. An elderly person or person with balance difficulty might need assistance to navigate the steps leading to the front door. The entire cabin, patio and woods are available to stay in and explore.
Guest access
The entrance gate requires a pass code provided upon booking. Same for the cabin door.
There are rock steps from the parking space to the front door that do not have handrails.
Other things to note
Bring a bug spray for mosquitos while outdoors.
It’s in the woods so an encounter with a wild animal/s is possible.
Steps to the front door maybe challenging for people with balance difficulties.

This cabin had everything we needed and more! My friend and I went on a work retreat to escape the noise of life. The porches, views, and comfort inside allowed us to have our own space to work and also gather to when we wanted. It was very clean and it seems they thought of everything. It does have a coffee pot (actually 2)even though it is not listed. Nestled in the woods makes it very peaceful with the birds, squirrels, and deer! I also enjoyed reading the history about the cabin. I will be back!

If you’re looking for an ultra clean 2br cabin in a peaceful secluded setting, this is an awesome spot! We will stay here again! Great communication with the property owner as well.

I stayed one night on a road trip. Beautiful drive to the property, and a small pond nearby full of frogs, multiple birds, lots of cardinals, WAY better than any noise machine can produce. And no insects or bugs in the cabin. For being in the woods I expected to see a random stink bug or something. Not one. No mosquitos around either. There was a map of trails in the area as well. Would definitely stay here again to check out the area. And it’s what the add states, a cabin in the woods. Bring in your essentials and pack out. I brought my French press because that’s how I do coffee when I camp; but forgot my coffee grinder. There was a Keurig! Great little place.
